I sincerely hope that James Trafford was watching Palmer. today and maybe take some notice of the slagging off he's getting from Chelsea fans online. A city academy graduate who left the club "for more playing time". Trafford needs to think about what he's potentially leaving behind. When he hangs up his gloves having the " got a lot of minutes trophy" will not be as satisfying as the trophies this current Man City team are going to win. Some of this City squad will be talked about worldwide as legends. He might be remembered sometimes as a legend at a much less successful club by the fans of that club. It is that brutal. He currently plays in every domestic cup competition for a club that is legitimately in the same bracket as Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG. They are all sorted for goalkeepers. As are Arsenal who claim to be in that bracket but simply don't have the trophies to back it up. Liverpool also okay for keepers. Wherever else he goes it will be to a club that cannot be considered elite over the last 12 years. He's 4 years younger than Donnarumma. Keepers get injured, run into bed form or get suspended. He will get his chances. Personally I want to keep them both and will not engage in stupid juvenile arguments about who's better. Each has their strengths and weaknesses and that's normal. I know it's rare that a club can carry to world class keepers but we are Manchester City, we do things differently here.
