𒉭Strugglers, with extreme disappointment we're sharing the news that The Black Swordsman project has NOT been approved by the owners. -A lot of people believe that we chose to not continue the project, but in reality we were forced to stop publishing after the IP Holders sent this warning last year: x.com/berserk_projec… We are not allowed to post any Berserk animated content on this channel/socials and have been warned to have legal troubles if we do. 𒉭Since then we have been trying to get permission from them to work on the official adaptation, there has been meetings throughout the year pitching the idea, our dream was that they could give us a chance to make something in the same quality as the trailers we produced but it seems they have chosen to go with a Japanese studio for the next adaptation. We understand the decision and wish them the best, as Berserk fans the one thing we care about is seeing this work adapted with love and care just as we were trying to do. 𒉭 We are extremely thankful for all the support and for all the people that started reading the manga thanks to our videos, for all the live reactions to our trailers and the encouragement we received. Our biggest dream has been to make this project happen. -This essentially leaves us without any fan projects to work on for this channel, so we're taking a hiatus to decide the future of Studio Eclypse without fan-animations, we really don't want to work on something again for years only for it to be taken down once we publish. If you have any ideas on what we could do as a studio next year we would gladly read them in the comments to help us decide. Thank you again everyone.

🛑AOT UPDATE: There's (like usual) some misinformation going on about this. It seems @X was asked to take down our videos off the platform and they denied there was Copyright Infringement, so we didn't receive any type of notification or warning. Apparently Kodansha filed the subpoenas to be able send us the DMCA directly. We NOW have taken down ALL the videos cited in the legal document as we did on Youtube when they asked, we just wish this would've been notified a month ago when it happened instead of finding out like this.

Kodansha has filed subpoenas against 'Attack on Titan: Requiem' fan-Studio Eclypse, requesting IP addresses, billing information, and other personal details for those involved

Hey there, that Patreon is not ours and we didn't receive a penny, it was created by the original creators of the fan-manga which is a completely different group of people unrelated to our projects. You can see both our socials are dedicated to different things since we started years ago and we don't share any staff or collaborators with them besides adapting their story independently. That's why our animated version has a lot of anime only scenes absent from the manga.
