The most important thing about this amazing Paris transformation is how fast it happened —how fast people on bikes “appeared” —once streets were transformed. You can’t write this off as “#Paris was always this way,” because it wasn’t. It took leadership.

Parish councils should be mandated to have a spectrum of age ranges on them, with a maximum age limit. Too many are just a bunch of grumpy pensioners with nothing better to do. The national average age is 60 which is ridiculous.

Transport for London is dropping a massive headache on West London by completely shutting down the A40 Westway in both directions starting at 10 PM on Friday, 20th March. This isn’t just a quick weekend job - the road will be closed 24/7 all the way until late April 2026 while they replace structural joints under the flyover. Because the A40 carries a massive 96,000 vehicles every single day, TfL has already warned that local roads are going to face “widespread chaos” and heavy gridlock. Even if you don’t drive, 33 bus routes are going to be caught in the mess.
