Unqualified love has lead to the majority of problems in our society today. Unqualified love is suicidal empathy which is literally destroying our entire civilization. So, yes, I do think it’s done a LOT more damage than any pastors preaching unqualified hate (especially since I’m not aware of any actually do that).

@YSuperset @sparky_jpeg @Rothmus If anything, I want you to show me how the combined 13,000 (on the high end) estimated deaths from radiation and radioactive effects acress all three accidents is somehow worse than the 460,000 deaths attributed to coal plants alone in the last 25 years.

@YSuperset @sparky_jpeg @Rothmus Please back up that statement. Show how the unique dangers of nuclear power (i.e. radiation) have proven to be more dangerous than the unique dangers posed by fossil fuels (i.e. air pollution). Your possible sources are Fukushima and Chernobyl, and maybe Kyshtym.

If anything is propoganda, it's the idea the nuclear power isn't safe, because increasing the usage of it would decrease our reliance on fossil fuels and thus impact those industries tremendously. Back up your claims.

@HEXICAN5150 @delme_cupido @elonmusk It worked for decades after WW2. The economy everyone wants to go back to worked because of social policies and a massively high tax rate for the wealthiest individuals.

Nope, that doesn't work. What needs to happen is accountability at the government level. Stop the wastage. Stop spending money on fu king unnecessary wars. Stop the corruption of the food and pharma giants. Make it about the people once again. Overtaxing high net worth individuals and their companies will not work, it never does, they simply go elsewhere because they can.

@YSuperset @Rothmus Power generation of all types causes harm to the environment and to people; there is no way to extract energy without causing some level of harm. The point, then, is to extract the greatest amount of energy while doing the least harm. Nuclear power demonstrably does that.

@Rothmus It's not safe. A meltdown renders an unfathomably large area inhospitable for thousands of years. Nuclear waste needs to be stored and cooled. The power plants are dependent on external power and other variables for safe operation. Nuclear materials are a proliferation risk. Etc.

@YSuperset If Trump does this? Bro we already provide full-throated support to Isreal. We are already party to the genocide they are committing.
