@FedFarmers National is not interested in infrastructure, as it would rather spend money on events and the NRL

186 years after the signing of te Tiriti and we see a PM stumble his way through a mispronounced mihi read from paper and leaders like Winston Peters speak English. Leave the taumata-paepae pōwhiri for the adepts and have the politicians to say their little kōrero over by the whare paku until they acquire te reo rangatira.

Serious question.. who does this help? Literally excluding young girls from activities just because they're trans. This is only contributing to the mental health issues that trans people face due to being ostracised.

Maria is planning to appeal this judgment. The good thing about losing at first instance is that if you win at a higher level it creates a precedent. Onwards and upwards! (But I know she is going to be feeling pretty miserable today)

The judgment in the case of Maria Kelly v Leonardo is out and it is awful. As bad as James Tayler’s judgment in Forstater v CGDE in 2019 (and just as likely to be turned over on appeal). gov.uk/employment-tri…

Impressive . Now do the Mongrel Mob, Comancheros etc. Because if you are worried about groups introducing young men to extremism and violence and your focus is on a quirky church, may I suggest you're not really focusing in the right area. 1news.co.nz/2025/09/08/joh…

BREAKING: Green MP Benjamin Doyle has resigned, their last day - October 3. “After having baseless and violent accusations thrown at me, and an onslaught of hate, vitriol and threats of real-world violence directed at me and my whānau, I have decided to move on from Parliament.”

Hipkins on the news just now calling out the wasted $600m cost of cancelling Labours failed Interislander project. While he wasted $66b with nothing to show for it plus of course light rail and the Akld cycle bridge. Total hypocrite.

Statement re Royal Commission I’m disappointed to learn that those requested by the Royal Commission for COVID-19 Lessons to give evidence publicly have declined to do so, resulting in the cancellation of public hearings, given the Commission believed these hearings would enhance public confidence. In light of this refusal, I have sought assurance from the Royal Commission that they will still have access to the information needed for their report to be fulsome and robust. I have received that assurance. It is important we learn from the past so future Governments are better prepared to respond to any future pandemics. The final report will be delivered in February next year, and I know many Kiwis are interested in reading its findings. covid19lessons.royalcommission.nz/assets/Phase-T…
