I used to work construction in 95 degree heat with no shade on a tar roof carrying 3/4 inch plywood all day for ten hours a day.
And I had a blast.
I worked at BigTech making 20x the money sitting around like a pawn in some random middle manager chess game while they talked about going hiking and the restaurants in Fremont and I wanted to walk into the bay with rocks in my pockets.

@15megatons Not true. Pharma companies make ten year investments for drugs that may or may not work. Many companies have 5, 10 or 15 year investment strategies.
If you don’t see that, it’s because your aren’t looking or are blinded by your assumptions
