@blackpgasus @NotTorren @jam_croissant Do you think Obama told all the candidates China is going to release a virus no different than the flu in 2020, you have 3 years to plan? Or do you mean this term after Biden/Kamala added $8.4 trillion to the debt which was greater than his first term?
English

@NotTorren @jam_croissant Why did Trump take office if he knew he couldn't fix it?
English

@HackingButLegal Birth control prevents fertilized eggs, Plan B prevents you from releasing an egg and IUDs essentially kill sperm. None of these killing a fertilized egg so it doesn’t fall under the bill. Even in your crazy world that leaves swallowing, a condom, and abstinence.
English

This new North Carolina House bill would jail or authorize the murder of women due to their personal use of birth control, such as an IUD, or for having or attempting to have an abortion.
Call your legislators. #NCpol HB1232 ncleg.gov/BillLookUp/202…

@allenanalysis US debt was $36.4 trillion March 2025 and it is currently $39.2 trillion. That’s an increase of $2.8 trillion so far. For perspective Trump’s $7.8 is still less than Biden’s $8.4 trillion. So things would still be worse under Biden or Kamala.
English

Trump is now reportedly responsible for roughly 27.7% of the entire U.S. national debt accumulated under all presidents combined.
That is an astonishing figure historically.
The national debt just crossed $39 trillion.
President Trump has added roughly $12–13 trillion to the debt across his two terms in office.
That’s approximately 30% of ALL U.S. national debt accumulated since 1789.
In 2016, Trump said he would pay down the national debt “over a period of eight years.”
Instead:
- First term: +$7.8 trillion
- Second term: roughly +$4–5 trillion already
And yes, COVID affected first-term spending.
It does not explain adding another trillion dollars every five months without a pandemic.
A political movement built on:
“fiscal conservatism”
“small government”
“balanced budgets”
has now overseen the largest debt expansion tied to any single presidency in American history.

@lthorvil @Knotwoketroub @elonmusk @POTUS @VP @GOP You’re why women and the vast majority of men weren’t allowed to vote. What I would give for people to have to pass a civics test to get this right. How many branches of government are there? Here’s a hint more than 1. They should bring back 3/5 to weaken the votes of the stupid.
English

Definitely not
Mike Lee@BasedMikeLee
High-trust societies cannot survive uncontrolled immigration
English

@elonmusk Uncontrolled immigration from Korea, Japan, most of Europe and Canada back in the olden days of post WW2 or scratch Japan to add pre WW2 could still lead to a high-trust society. Racism is wrong, but Europe and Asia traded culture while Africa’s chief export was Africans.
English

@BoLoudon I worked in a CA welfare office for four years. We couldn’t issue funds for cash benefits or Medical without birth certificates for everyone, if they didn’t have theirs we ordered them and they stayed in the file! That was almost 30 yrs ago…has that changed?
English

@QuantumGuard17 Is this a new raid or are you reposting 2 weeks old news as breaking?
English

BREAKING: The FBI is currently RAIDING the office of high-ranking Democrat VA Sen. Louise Lucas in a MAJOR corruption investigation, per Fox
Sen. Lucas is a close ally of Dem. VA Gov. Abigail Spanberger
MULTIPLE court-approved search warrants are being executed at Lucas' office as well as the cannabis dispensary next door, which Lucas is believed to be connected with
English

@allenanalysis Applicants not holders so this is only a partial win. Only thing that could make this better is if people complaining about this start leaving in solidarity. I hear Europe is nice
English

BREAKING: The Trump administration reportedly says ALL green card applicants must now leave the country indefinitely while their cases are processed; even if they are legally in the U.S. or married to American citizens.
This would be one of the most aggressive immigration policy shifts in years.
English

@MarcoSm43819365 @markpoling @allenanalysis JD Vance is married to an immigrant, Rubio is an immigrant, Clarence Thomas who’s black is the greatest conservative in the country, Trump’s wife is an immigrant, so what is this anti immigrant propaganda?
English

@markpoling @allenanalysis Do you feel the anti-immigration propaganda of the last few years has made you more hateful?
English

@GMErectheus @thinkingwest @romanhelmetguy I can’t tell what’s worse that you’re too stupid to understand his point or that you’re right for the wrong reasons. No matter how different the Age of Enlightenment is to the Renaissance it’s analogous. Our thinking and way of life now is anomalous to any other time period.
English

@thinkingwest @romanhelmetguy Every time I read old books all I see are the same problems we have now. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Every generation always thinks they’re unique.
English

Nothing will shape your worldview as much as simply reading how humans from the past thought.
You realize very quickly that our time is a radical anomaly in human history.
Auron MacIntyre@AuronMacintyre
Read old books
English

@homesteader1000 @thinkingwest No because the problem is kindness. That person should immediately be put in jail for at least a year. If his life isn’t turned around he should be removed from the country. Government treats their lives as important while the law abiding do not get the same treatment.
English

@thinkingwest I always wonder how our society would be different today if they hadn’t given up on prohibition? Would we have a lot less violence? Would I I be able to walk down a city street without seeing drugged up men yelling at themselves and others?
English

@VinLomack @OopsGuess @bathwaterbasin The Age of Enlightenment? Renaissance? Bronze? Steel? Flight? Nuclear? Nukes? Space exploration? Medicine? The western world has been at the apex for millennia. Can you name an area the East was better in? You don’t even look Asian, what did your people do?
English

@OopsGuess @bathwaterbasin Love this response. When westerners take and steal, they call it innovation, strategic thinking, business acumen. When others learn and progress - suddenly it’s theft

Jensen Huang says it has “largely conceded” China’s AI chip market to Huawei
Nvidia was not rejected because China “hates” Nvidia.
It was pushed out because Washington turned chips into a leash.
China learned the lesson very clearly:
You cannot build AI sovereignty on hardware that your geopolitical rival can revoke with one export-control memo.
Jensen Huang can be friendly.
Nvidia can be excellent.
Chinese demand can be huge.
None of that changes the strategic reality.
If the neck of China’s AI industry depends on an American-controlled chip supply, then it is not an industry.
It is a hostage.
So China did what any serious civilization-state would do:
It built alternatives.
It endured the pain.
It let Huawei grow into the space Washington forced open.
Now Nvidia says it has “largely conceded” China’s AI chip market to Huawei.
That is not China closing a door.
That is America sawing off the bridge, then acting surprised when China built its own road.
English

@GBX_Press They’ve been doing that since the war in Ukraine started because of the sanctions. This is 4 year old news so why is Trump’s picture there? And the yuan is only for sales in asia
English

@krassenstein No Reynolds American which is the parent company of multiple tobacco companies such as Vuse, Newports, Grizzly, Lucky Strike etc made the donation. Are you saying Newports are marketed towards kids? Why is a child able to buy a vape when it’s against the law? Just enforce the law
English

@TheLaurenChen I could write a dissertation on this, but ultimately the simplest answer is Government. Local, state, and federal.
English

Why are restaurants so expensive in the West?
I'm honestly asking.
In Asia people eat out almost every day, there are options cheaper than cooking for yourself.
But even "street food" is expensive here.
I paid $17 for 4 tacos out of a truck from a guy who spoke no English.
Mikli@CryptoMikli
Kevin O’Leary says Gen Z is financially cooked when people making $70K a year are spending $28 on lunch
English

@AWeidmann @krassenstein Settlement is an agreement where the plaintiff agrees to drop or dismiss their lawsuit in exchange for something of value, usually a sum of money. It ends the dispute voluntarily without leaving the final decision up to a judge or jury.
English

@krassenstein Only plaintiffs can dismiss cases unilaterally, so either you’re lying about these “secret internal advisements” or they are the worst lawyers ever. If a defendant, in this case the IRS, can one sidedly dismiss cases against them then there are no civil suits. You’re scum
