Led by our undergraduate researcher Aditi Prasad, the paper is now submitted for review to a journal before she graduates from IIT Delhi. Very proud of the excellent work done as a part of her B.Tech. project. With able support of our PhD scholar Anagha P. 💽 Data Repo: doi.org/10.5281/zenodo… A 30-year daily dataset of 0.1 degree bioclimatic variables [1991-2004] - notable improvement over MERRAClim and WorldClim. In support of open-science, the dataset has already been released in public. @Kaju_Nut @abandopa Out of 7 criteria, if a few of them are ensured, a lot of great scientists would be happy to return. The absence of these criteria drove them outside in the first place.

Both @abandopa and I had argued that India should immediately try to attract US-based Indian scientists back to India. Yann LeCun has now pointed out the same opportunity for European universities. I hope our policymakers are paying attention!

Got a question on what to pursue. I would suggest Knowledge. Fun, lifelong pursuit. Fame/fortune may cloy you but knowledge for a Purpose is found to be more satisfying. Happiness maybe overrated. Money makes life convenient but Purpose leads to joy. Find your Purpose. Have fun!
