@sunandcoffee

Somehow somebody decided I was worth spamming, so starting from scratch. Politics, law, Bravo, and other reality TV. You know, just the basics.

My thing about The Family Stone is they're actually humorless. The worst kind of family who thinks they're soooooo funny but are just mean as hell.

When Massachusetts passed a "millionaires tax" in 2023, conservatives claimed the rich would flee. But two years later, they haven't — and MA has collected $5.7B for infrastructure and public education. A reminder that positive change can still happen at the state level.

Let’s be clear…the Big Ugly bill is why your insurance premiums keep going up.
Marjorie Taylor Greene voted for it.
While the wealthy got permanent tax cuts, working families got higher bills and less coverage. Now that it’s become personal, folks’ eyes are starting to open.
But we weren’t sent to Congress to only care when it hits home — we were sent here to fight for every single constituent we represent.

Socialism is what they called public power. Socialism is what they called social security. Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations. Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people. —Harry Truman, 1952

@robataol You’ve probably never heard of it because it’s usually kept quiet, and funded by lobbyists and special interest groups pouring money in to influence the incoming administration’s policies. Since Zohran pledged not to do that, the alternative is grassroots funding.

Hey @Walmart , considering you have more employees on SNAP than any other company — instead of simply having a ‘cheaper’ Thanksgiving bundle, how about giving your underpaid employees who must rely on SNAP for survival, one for free? You’ll just write it off anyway. It’s the least you can do. And I stress, the LEAST…

Today marks SIX WEEKS since I was elected by the voters of AZ-07. For six weeks, @SpeakerJohnson has denied them their voice in Congress. That's not leadership. That's obstruction.

If someone works full-time and receives SNAP, that means your taxpayer dollars are subsidizing the company's profits bc it refuses to pay them a livable wage. This can only be said so many ways; it isn’t difficult to grasp.

Want to get people off SNAP? Start with minimum wage. Had minimum wage kept up with inflation and productivity, it would be $26 an hour. That would remove 13 million workers from Snap benefits overnight. These ate facts.
