@a_sajo Everywhere in India this is happening, but Pune is totally immune! A few times the drivers have run over policemen. So it's hard to blame the cops on duty for being afraid. Higher authorities need to intervene on a massive scale.

Punekars, pl continue protesting against wearing helmets. Pl continue glorifying triple riding. Pl continue justifying wrongside driving citing excuses like no service roads, u-turn being 100 metres away bla bla bla. @PMPMLPune , you can keep believing that your drivers are following all traffic rules and are extremely cautious drivers. The footpath here was removed on instructions of @PuneCityTraffic - as confirmed by @PMCPune on the ticket that I had raised. That's how much @CPPuneCity cares about pedestrians!

According to @PMCPune, the @PuneCityTraffic instructed them to remove a footpath! Is this legal? Can we file a case against the PMC and @PuneCityPolice for defying rules that protect the safely of pedestrians?? "The footpath is removed as per instructions of traffic police"
