A Public health department FINALLY produced a video explaining how airborne viruses work. Next step, getting videos like this on TV and all over social media. Too many people think handwashing will prevent covid or the flu🫤

@donc80006256 ❌ The percentages in the image originated from claims made by a lawyer referencing military medical data, not from Pfizer. ❌ Fact-checking organizations have found these figures likely due to data errors and misinterpretation, not causal effects.

@MariaMGillespie Thanks. I have a QT3 at my desk in an open plan office and I can't turn it up to max (although I want to) because of the noise. So I was wondering about the noise level of this machine.

@supastanyc It's pretty loud but not as loud as the AirFanta 3pro. It'd be annoying to me in an office all day but I'm pretty sensitive to fan noises. It's also quieter on the lower setting.

Keeping hydrated safely on travels! Layers: Zimi mask SIP valve for straw Laminar flow air cleaner Aranet to monitor CO2 levels Are all these layers necessary? Probably not. Together, are they almost certainly sufficient? You bet. The layered approach to safety is best! 😷❤️

Apparently my language was imprecise - here is a ScienceTM accurate revision: The problem with mRNA is it travels throughout the body and instructs cells to replicate what is programmed (spike proteins, etc.) wherever it grabs hold in the body. If mRNA travels to your heart, it creates a new protein factory in your heart cells - if the body perceives the new proteins to be harmful, your immune system attacks the cells producing the proteins in your heart, leading to myocarditis (autoimmune attack on the heart), or other autoimmune issues if cells create these proteins elsewhere. If they can design mRNA vaccines to ensure it does not travel past the injection site, OR ensure it doesn’t cause the body to attack the site where it lands, then it’s promising. As it stands now, mRNA technology isn’t ready for prime time and with great potential to cause harmful side effects like we saw from the Covid vaccines.

Bill Maher: "I was a guy who did not want the Covid vaccine, but I do want research on mRNA. I don't think that that's crazy stuff." Andrew Huberman: "mRNA is in every single one of our cells... we would not be here were it not for mRNA... there is incredible work on non-COVID related mRNA vaccines related to cancers, neurologic conditions, and many genetic diseases... we would be absolutely foolish to ignore the technology."

@A1an_M @drpatrick Similarly, people who argue that the vaccines are the cause of long Covid and cancer have not controlled for repeated Covid infections, including asymptomatic infections. And Covid contains the spike protein too.

I presume that, as a good scientist, when you study these things, you have a "never COVID vaccinated" control group to rule out the possibility that what you are seeing is caused by the COVID vaccines, which, unlike a natural infection, cause the body to create unknown numbers of spike proteins for an unknown period of time, in unknown areas of the body. I mean, it's the most obvious potential confounding variable in the entire history of science. You have controlled for it, haven't you?

Just out in Nature yesterday, SARS-COv-2 infection can awaken sleeping cancer cells! My concern mounts with increasing evidence that COVID is a cancer inducing virus. Viral clearance is more important than ever, especially in those with LONG-COVID. nature.com/articles/d4158…

I asked Grok 4 about Long COVID. It's very concerned about Long COVID, thinks society should take it far more seriously, acknowledges that it's currently devastating society, and thinks that people should still be masking and avoiding COVID infection as much as possible:

Had doc appt at NYU this morning. NYU partnered w Amazon to use biometrics for ID & asked me to scan palm print “for expedited service” going forward 😱. I opted out but they made it difficult. Also, was taken aback by doc wearing N95, talking abt Nimbus, saying it’s so contagious his fam member caught it outside 2 weeks ago & was super sick but didn’t test +ve for 7d. “Not just a cold! That’s why I wear this,” he said pointing to N95. He’s not on X so I was 😳😱.

The article claiming that SARS-CoV-2 remains infectious in the air for 16 hours has been making the rounds on social media again. I thought I would take this opportunity to discuss it, what it shows, what it doesn’t, and why I think it shouldn’t be taken seriously. A 🧵

@JeromeAdamsMD That is the problem. Have you looked at any of the data that YOU don't believe? I mean really look at the doctors, many doctors who knew ivermectin worked and they were vilified? Have you looked at the studies on Ivermectin that they are allowing to be shown now?

Honest question: Why are so many so triggered when I share data on 2024 Covid deaths? It seems difficult for many to engage in a rational discussion about widely accepted information. Ironically, this often comes from those who advocate for truth, transparency, and medical freedom (like the “respect my Ivermectin choice” crowd). 🤷🏽‍♂️
Jerome Adams@JeromeAdamsMD

COVID-19 continues to pose a significant public health threat. In 2024, over 47,000 Americans lost their lives to this virus—an alarming rate of one death every 11 minutes. This toll exceeds fatalities from car accidents and breast cancer. We must not forget the impact.

I get the concern about misinformation, but what’s wrong with saying measles can be treated with vitamin A? I saw some studies, like the one from PMC, showing it can reduce mortality in severe cases, especially in young kids. Isn’t there some truth to it, even if it’s not the whole solution?

The U.S. has surpassed 1,000 measles cases for the first time in five years, with 96% involving unvaccinated individuals or those with unknown vaccination status. HHS Secretary RFK Jr. has repeatedly claimed that measles can be treated with vitamin A.
