@montie @Nigel_Farage You sure you have the actual Nigel Farage in mind? Talk about stretching an argument to breaking point…..it would be funny if it wasn’t so important!

I don't often agree with Dan but this is a warning that Reform's campaign should heed. Restore may be big in its Twitter backyard but it is desperate for mainstream attention and to use that attention to begin eating into Reform's vote. If I was one of Labour's many Machiavellians I'd ensure Restore always had enough money and enough mentions so that it begins to split Britain's populist vote. Such a split is this government's last best hope of clinging on in power. C'mon @RupertLowe10. You're better than that. Aren't you?!
(((Dan Hodges)))@DPJHodges

This is what will now happen. Reform will launch a frenzied attack on Restore to try and squeeze the Restore vote. And the effect will be to dramatically increase the salience of Restore, and have the completely opposite effect.

@RobertJenrick This is such a pathetic policy 😂 spend another hour and a half away from your family and kids every single day for a corporation and you'll earn just about enough to cover less than half of your council tax for the year

@RobertJenrick Sooo less than £20 per week better off and miss family dinner time (kids will eat without you) and probably miss young kids bath & bed time.... for £19. That's not even fish & chips for a "date night" once a week

The hypocrisy on social media around Ofsted really gets to me. How can anyone praise a school for their Ofsted outcomes while deploring the system for not being fair? Especially for very inclusive schools with less than national results..>>

@SarahFarrellKS2 Seems like a very good question if what you want to do is identify which students know what a proposition is. Why do you think it is horrible. If all you have done is learnt by rote you might get it wrong.

This is one of the richest countries in the history of the world. Yet we have thousands of children going to school hungry each morning while supermarkets rake in obscene profits. #bbcqt

A lot of time housebuilders get stick for failing to build 'the right number' of social houses as part of a development plan. It may help to get a little insight into how development economics works. You may find the below linked tweet interesting as well- it ties into what I am talking about here neatly: x.com/johndotwills/s…

@KishwerFalkner You’re an old bigot who doesn’t believe in gay or trans equality. The fact you were in that job is a pure travesty.

Sad to read in @thetimes that Bridget Phillipson is blaming me for delay to EHRC Code. She certainly stoops low. She had Code for 3 months when she sent me this letter last November - no indication of any grandstanding then.

@QcWynter You don't think that implying that trans people don't exist is hateful? Of course they exist, and that is why people are asked in a medical environment whether they are trans. Of course, that may be a bit too complex for you to consider.

I visited a friend in hospital yesterday. Opposite was a lady in her '80s. A nurse asked her a series of questions, one of which was "were you assigned a different gender at birth to the one in which you now identify?" Her fruity response was so funny, whole ward was in stitches.

I came home from Canterbury on the bus yesterday. A trans woman boarded the bus. She looked beautiful. There was only one free seat facing the rest of the passengers. I just thought, what courage does that take? Love and solidarity with the trans community.

Every child deserves the best start in life, but the next generation face worse prospects than the last. That’s why I’d restore Sure Start - with an extra £1.7bn funded by the wealth tax that actually works - to help close the gap between the richest and poorest backgrounds.

@BladeoftheS So odd that the coop is the worst of them all. (You are totally wrong about them being owned by PE. But then you must know that, it is trivially easy to find out.

Co-op is the only supermarket in the UK NOT owned by Private Equity It's not just Morrisons Tesco, Sainsbury's and M&S are all owned by a combination of Blackrock/HSBC/Vanguard. So they are basically one supermarket The others are all owned by a single usually American company

Private landlords are costing the UK £40 billion in housing benefit every year. They are a drain on the economy and do no work, providing no productivity or growth.
Kirstie Allsopp@KirstieMAllsopp

Surprise, surprise @wesstreeting is on @BBCr4today bashing landlords. I’ve got news for you mate, we can’t have a “productive nation” without people having homes, so if you want to tax Landlords to hell, I’d build some alternative accommodation first ‘cos you’re going to need it.
