The fascinating part is that chronic stress can mimic dozens of unrelated diseases at once. Poor sleep, brain fog, cravings, fatigue, gut issues, irritability, low motivation, inflammation. People often think they have separate problems when their nervous system may be running one long-term survival program underneath all of them.

The deadliest killer isn’t cancer or heart disease. It’s high cortisol. It's the reason why you're depressed, anxious, and your nervous system is in chaos. Here’s the shocking truth about stress—and exactly how to break free (for good):

High cortisol shaves 7 years off your life — and most adults are running it. It wrecks deep sleep, ages your skin, fragments memory, and locks belly fat in survival mode. Here are 10 cheat codes to lower cortisol according to science: 1. Strict caffeine cutoff at noon

@coacholive98 Very true, but also consider soft-boiling the eggs next time so the yolk is runny and the whites are a bit delicate. Much more palatable and digestible that way (with a pinch of salt ofc)

Let me sell you on the traditional babushka meat grinder. One $30 chunk of metal and suddenly you stop buying mystery sludge in plastic trays and start making actual food. I grew up watching my babcia use it every day btw. You want beef with extra gelatinous cuts? Done. Want to sneak in liver, heart, kidney, collagen-rich scraps? Done. Want the exact fat ratio your metabolism feels good on? Done. You become your own butcher. How cool is that?? The beautiful thing is that the “cheap” cuts become the best cuts. The weird connective tissue pieces everyone avoids are your collagenous GOLD. Ageing NEVER energy. The organs modern people forgot how to use are yours now for perfect anti-ageing nutrition in a world obsessed with chicken tenders and inflammatory muscle meats alone. The gelatine is where the good stuff is. Throw it all through the grinder and you’ve got perfect homemade patties: • richer in glycine • elite amino acid balance • no precious part of the animal goes to waste • no industrial sneed oil garbage in store bought patties • no random additives • no “natural flavours” psyop Just real animal food. There’s also something really satisfying about manually grinding meat in your kitchen like an Eastern European grandmother preparing for winter while modernity collapses around her. Traditional tools > hyper-processed convenience culture. The babushka meat grinder stays undefeated. Get one. I just ordered mine. Cannot wait.

The irony of the modern "hybrid athlete" is that most of the ones who are popular are really just doing bodybuilding splits and then running an excessive amount of Half-Marathons. The idea of actually competing in two opposing domains really isn't done as much as they say.

I left a section out of my Promethean Update today which will, actually, be determinative of who wins the race for technological progress at the frontiers of knowledge. It was too long for my script and really needs to stand on its own. It would be an interesting cultural dialogue for China and the U.S. to talk about this problem together. Here’s the part I left out. Who will be the young men and women who power and control the new economies both China and the U.S. are building? In China, youth unemployment for those aged 16 to 24 is officially 16.9 percent as of March 2026, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. Roughly 70 percent of unemployed 20-to-24-year-olds hold university degrees. They speak of "lying flat" and "let it rot." Some pay to fake-work at offices to maintain the appearance of having a job. [REFERENCE: China National Bureau of Statistics youth unemployment data, March 2026; Fortune, "China's youth unemployment is so high that Gen Zers are paying to pretend to work" — fortune.com/2025/04/24/chi…] In the United States, Gen Z unemployment runs 8.3 percent — double the national average. Forty-two percent of recent American college graduates are underemployed, the highest level since 2020. Forty-six percent of Gen Z Americans have received a formal mental health diagnosis. Somewhere, in both societies, the curiosity, zest for life and adventure you find in any kid, has been shattered. In the U.S. we know that drugs, a rotten education, mind numbing gamer culture and porn, coupled with broken families create purposelessness and despair. Education is geared toward the last economy, not the future one. Internet myths abound, like the certainty the U.S. never went to the Moon–one of the huge inspirations of my youth. Instead, day in day out you’re flooded with propaganda about how the world is ending. The elites tell us you will own nothing and be happy. President Trump is tackling this directly. In April 2025, he signed Executive Order 14278 directing the Departments of Labor, Education, and Commerce to develop a plan to reach one million active apprentices in skilled trades and emerging industries — manufacturing, AI, maritime, and the nuclear industrial base. [REFERENCE: White House Executive Order 14278, "Preparing Americans for High-Paying Skilled Trade Jobs of the Future," April 23, 2025 — whitehouse.gov/presidential-a…] In March 2026, he followed up with an executive order stripping away the green-energy mandates, NEPA delays, and zoning interference that has added over $90,000 to the cost of an average new home. According to HUD Secretary Scott Turner, in Trump's first year back in office mortgage affordability has hit a four-year high, national median rents are at a four-year low, and HUD has helped make housing more affordable for more than one million Americans, including over half a million first-time homebuyers. [REFERENCE: White House Executive Order "Removing Regulatory Barriers to Affordable Home Construction," March 13, 2026 — whitehouse.gov/presidential-a…] Just before he left to China, the president demanded that the House pass a Senate bill which bars corporate ownership of single family homes. Optimism should be the order of the day. Or, as Ericka Kirk said recently, get married, have more kids than you can afford. There is lots of work to do in restoring classical education, training people up in the skilled trades for the new economy we’re making. Wresting control of our schools from the manufacturers of cultural despair and pessimism known as the Teachers’ Unions is really significant but also training teachers to meet the challenge of nurturing creativity rather than suffocating it.

Spot on! A young woman coming from a very traumatic background, more than likely will not understand the dynamics involved in this type of situation. Being able to have maturity and wisdom to choose the man that is best for her is difficult. The default is to go to the familiar.
Matthew Coast@MatthewCoast

She wants a relationship... but likes being single, is dating to marry, AND still goes after unavailable men, is extremely picky, and still manages to pick the wrong one. Let's talk about this contradiction so many of us are living without even realizing it. She says she wants a committed relationship, but she also loves her freedom and independence. She's dating with serious intention to find her husband, but somehow keeps choosing men who aren't even emotionally available. She has an entire list of non-negotiable standards, but ignores every single red flag the moment she feels chemistry. She wants commitment from men who've clearly shown her they're emotionally unavailable. She wants consistency from men who've proven repeatedly they're unreliable. She wants a future with men who can't even manage their present circumstances. And here's the uncomfortable truth nobody wants to acknowledge: sometimes the problem isn't that the right man hasn't shown up yet. It's that she's not actually ready to recognize him when he does show up. Because the right one might not give her butterflies immediately. He might be stable and secure, which feels boring after years of chasing chaos and drama. He might be actually available, which feels too easy after spending so much time chasing unavailable men. He might be consistent and reliable, which doesn't trigger the familiar trauma bond she's been mistaking for passion and chemistry. Real growth is recognizing your patterns and choosing differently. It's understanding that intense chemistry isn't the same as genuine compatibility. It's choosing what's healthy even when healthy feels uncomfortable or unfamiliar. If you keep picking the wrong one repeatedly, stop blaming the men for a second. Start examining why you're attracted to what hurts you and simultaneously repelled by what could actually heal you.

Sauna has so many benefits for health. A caveat: 16 ounces of water before sauna, 16 ounces of water during sauna and 16 ounces of water after sauna will make your kidneys very happy! Sauna naturally dehydrate your kidneys. Adding a bit of sea salt/electrolytes helps.
Jesse Morse, M.D.@DrJesseMorse

Did you know that a single 20-minute session at ~176°F can produce a 2–5x increase in serum growth hormone. Certain protocols (sauna → cold plunge cycling) have shown increases up to 16x‼️ If you could only pick one modality for longevity, it should be sauna. The data is super impressive, read the article all about sauna in the link below.

Cheating is always a choice. There is a fundamental lack of character in the individual who chooses this path. Emotional fragility and immaturity, inability to communicate, lack of honesty and truthfulness, lack of self-awareness, avoidant behavior – are just some of the traits
Matthew Coast@MatthewCoast

Cheating isn't a mistake... it's a CHOICE. You don't accidentally betray someone you love. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

This is spot on! Abusive parents do not have the ability to empathize let alone to see that their children are their own individuals. Image is everything to these parents, and they do to the child what they must in order to get the validation they so desperately need and crave.

Fixing micro nutrients, supporting immune system, liver, and kidneys with drainage therapies, addressing bowel movements and mass cell issues, while adding binders help to address the damage of mycotoxins! Excellent summary by @ Elijah Krings
Elijah Krings@Elijahkrings

If I were to summarize my approach to mycotoxins, this would be it: 1. Getting the foundations right, with a special focus on the immune & liver system This includes dietary micronutrient supremacy, a low inflammatory diet for your specific gut & digestive conditions and filling micronutrients that are missing (special focus on thiamine, riboflavin, folate, molybdenum, zinc, Vit ADEK) The immune system has to be supported. Low neutrophils, depleted WBCs are all common as mycotoxins are the most immunosuppressive toxins out there Methylation is key. Vit C, Copper, Zinc, Selenium, Vit A/D, Cocoa, thymosin or thymus bioregulators. If fancy, bone marrow & epitalon on top Liver is burdened and bile is sluggish. TUDCA, PDC & other choline derivatives, glycine, taurine and lots of bitters. NAC, Lipo GSH and B2 for glutathione. Vegetables, insulin sensitivity and Calcium D Glucarate for glucoronidation Special note to mast cells. All of the people I am working with with mycotoxins suffer from it. Apart from everything said, red light, CO2, calcium, BSO, Quercetin, stinging nettle tea, plasmalogens, omega-3s can all improve sensitivity 2. Drainage in all forms & functions This refers to lymphatic system, kidney, bowl movements, sweating and liver again Lymphatic system relies on movement, red light, hydration & fascia to move. Deploy daily movements, bounces, massages, grounding and red light to improve. Massages, osteopathy and craniosacral therapy aimed to improve glymphatics are also huge. Do not take this lightly. A daily fascia & lymph routine can seriously improve conditions Kidney are very dense in mitochondria and almost all kidney issues stem from mitochondrial issues downstream. There should be a focus on insulin & blood pressure, so electrolyte balance, inositol, berberine and zinc can all work here. MOTS-c, SS-31 are peptides which might improve the situation. Many plants can support it, like parsley, cranberry or hibiscus Bowl movements are key. Thiamine, Mg saturation, Kiwi, Vit C, Potassium, Cholinergic support and a diet that is just low inflammatory for your type have been the needle movers for me personally. Fermented stuff if tolerated Sweat, sweat, sweat. 3x per week or more if tolerated. The issue would be dehydration, so I would not start first day with it. Care for your kidneys, hydration & adrenals first Binding belongs to drainage. This is the most criticial piece in all of this. Dietary binders in the form of fibers like pectins, glucomannan can work here and should be used if tolerated. MCP as a supplemental fiber form is also all purpose. More specific binders like AC, Zeolithe or even pharma options if you tolerate or need it. Rotate between >2 binders per week 3. Colonization of the hollow cavities Huge issue for most, as mycotoxins immunocompromise the system so much that there will be some sort of overgrowth happening. Often its candida or MARCoNS in the nasal cavity Antimicrobial protocols for each respective hollow cavity (gut, mouth, nose) are appropriate here. Ensure your gut can handle it and only do it after some toxic load has been taken away 4. Improve mitochondria The last step that gathered my attention in the last time has been the damage done to existing mitochondria. Mycotoxins are direct mitochondrial toxins stopping ATP production, increasing RET-ROS and hence senescence. Cellular debris accumulates and cells become dysfunctional and permeate this to the environment around them. Compounds and lifestyle choices aimed at improving mitogenesis, autophagy, senolytics and redox co-factors really can improve baseline even further from here. There are many compounds for this, but here are some: MOTS-C, SS-31, Epitalon/Thymus bioregulators, Fisetin, A-KG, NA/NR, Quercetin, Urolithin-A, MitoQ, Spermidine and also improving metabolic flexibility, cycling in and out of ketogenic phases or fasting phases. Exercise and cold plunging if tolerated
