Hey @mehdirhasan, I’m 78yrs beyond the “Does Israel have a right to exist”question. Israel DOES exist, and Israel ALWAYS WILL exist. The only question that matters now is - Will the Arab/Muslim world accept Israel’s existence? If they do, there’ll be peace. If they don’t, there’ll be war. So if you wanna be useful Mehdi, go ask Arab/Muslims in the region that question.

The real distinction is between Liberals (from all backgrounds and faiths) and Illiberals (from all backgrounds and faiths). Am I supposed to sit here and pretend that there aren't homegrown Western radicals on both the Left and the Right who put Islamists and jihadists to shame with their extremism and hatred of tolerance, freedom, and the West? We know they exist and far outnumber Muslim radicals. If these countries aren't willing to deal with their own extremists, no amount of blaming "outsiders" will fix anything.

I solidly believe Western societies have no future without the deportation, done legally and in an orderly Western manner, of large parts of their Muslim populations. In all honesty, there is simply no alternative and I'm not sure we can do it.

many people don’t realize this but, the more “Christians” act like this completely ignoring their commandments about respecting other people, the more people will leave Christianity to join Islam as theyre seeing one group following their teachings while another doesn’t.
