1/ An AI-designed database doesn't fail loudly. It just keeps charging you. 2/ The agent builds the schema backwards from the screen: free-text statuses, no constraints, no multi-tenancy. So every write is a guess. Wrong value, error, retry. 3/ And every retry re-sends your whole context. Five wrong guesses on one insert and you've paid for that context five times. It re-explores your schema from scratch every session too, because it remembers none of it. 4/ Then day thirty. You add a second customer and there's no tenant isolation. RLS gets bolted on late, which is how tenant A ends up reading tenant B's data. Now you're rewriting every table, query and policy you shipped. 5/ Skene Skills give the agent a real schema up front.
