Is there a browser plugin that helps with editing Tailwind CSS in the browser? Context: I have a set of cards with the same classes, and I want to make quick changes to them at once. It could have been a class name 😅

I'm excited to announce that I'm moving back to NYC from Thailand in a couple weeks, and along with that: If you ship your own products for fun or for profit, you should join my new meetup: hackayork.com! We'll meet every Thurs starting Aug 7, usually around Union Sq:

There is no way I'm ever going to go back to normally debugging Tailwind. Shoutout to @Erwin_AI for making @tailscan such a goated tool 💪 It's basically the browser inspector but for Tailwind. You can even use all the arbitrary classes 🤯

@mondayrunner When inspecting a website in a smaller viewport, e.g. mobile, you can use the Chrome devtools Tailscan tab. It should be visible if you are in the 'Elements' tab of Chrome devtools, next to the 'Computed' subtab. This also works with native devtools element targeting!

The support for responsive checks needs some work, or maybe I'm doing it wrong :) The edit window is shown outside the browser viewport.

Have been using @tailscan for a bit. This is just the little tool that I have been missing in my life! Quick design checks, edits and changes directly in your browser for Tailwind.

@tailscan Hey, I’m planning to get the perpetual license, just wanted to make sure the product still has support.

September 2022. The start of Tailscan. The first revenue. And the start of the /open page, where financial metrics were visible for all to see 📈👀 Super nervous, because it's a vulnerable spot to put yourself in. The days after, lots of people voiced their support and this is what kept me going all this time. However.. nothing is forever. Today, I am removing the financial metrics again from the /open page. The only thing that I will continue to publish and write are the build-in-public blog articles. Also because this is a great way to reflect back for myself. The reason I'm deciding to close the open page is simple: I see that competitors are taking advantage of the financial metrics and website statistics. There is no benefit in it anymore for me. It is slowly only starting to hurt, and that's of course not good. It genuinely makes me sad, because I know a lot of people checked in periodically and derived their own strategy, tactics and lessons from it. A real-time class of how to build a startup, if you will. I might do some proper write-up about the entire ride of being an open startup, but for now, this is it. By the way, I'm also considering making a closed group of 5 to 10 vetted, promising founders that are building, nearly launching or have freshly launched and could use some guidance (all free, of course). LMK via dm if you're interested.

🚀✨ Launching TailwindCssColors.com Simple cheatsheet for Tailwind colors. Also lets you copy hex/hsl/rgb. Perfect bookmark if you keep searching "tailwind colors" to go to documentation and find the hex code you need ;) More functionality coming soon!
