Kinda surprised people’s heads are exploding over the Nussmeier selection. It was incredible value with potential to flip him for picks in 2-3 years. By drafting him in the 7th round, they’ll be paying him less guaranteed money than they would if they had tried to sign him as an UDFA.

As a KU fan who only knew of him cause he torched us, this thread is an excellent break down of his route running abilities. Seems to excel in the slot, definitely a bit small and could certainly get jammed at the line, but the route running and acceleration is absolutely real

Gotta peep this thread as a Chiefs' fan, great look at the Chiefs' new WR Cyrus Allen.. one of the best route runners in the entire class ⤵️⤵️

The Chiefs decided to give Steve Spagnuolo 3 top 40 picks and Patrick Mahomes 0. That’s fine, but there are no excuses next year. Especially with three vets having huge contracts. Also, the bulk of FA was dedicated to D (Tonga, Alohi, Kader). This defense better be excellent.
