@Kamigoroshi My Gran and Fardy (dads parents) always slept apart. They shared a bed purely for making children. But always slept in separate rooms. Right up until the end. Entirely because my Fardy snored like a freight train and Gran couldn’t sleep if they shared a bed. ♥️

Look, logically if you have a good night's sleep without being woken up by *checks notes* "the constant sound of a jet engine crossed with a chainsaw", you'd have a much happier partner too.

It should be said that my wife and I sleep separate rooms because I snore very loudly. I used to think that this was embarrassing, but apparently I'm not the only married couple who does this and all of them are happier for it.

@garystark @timburrowes @FOXSportsAUS @Foxtel Supercars took precedence on 506. So sprint quali was moved to 503 instead. One wouldn’t know without searching for F1 and seeing the channel change listed. They also did not warn viewers broadcast was switching back to 506.

@DavidKNye @FOXSportsAUS @ausgrandprix They swapped it to channel 503 instead of 506. And then with 3 minutes remaining in the sprint. Cut coverage on 503 to ads without telling anyone coverage had been moved to 506. Extremely frustrating.

@itchbay Coles and Woolworths get a somewhat decent variety of tomatoes from cherry to roma to truss and gourmet. Plus Bunnings come tomato season have a wide range of tomato plants and I know several online places to get quality seeds too. It also depends where you live too.

@talrisa I honestly haven't tried the tomatoes at Woolies or Coles. I guess my "no grocery store tomatoes" training goes DEEP. 😅 I've tried all the veg shops in the area, and they don't have anything. Sometimes Harris Farms has some bulls heart. I need to try the farmer's market again.

I have only found two kinds of tomatoes in Australia: 1. it's fine, not delicious but has basic tomato flavor and texture 2. legitimately makes me angry on behalf of all tomatoes everywhere The one I'm eating for breakfast today is a 2.

@itchbay We can get Heirloom tomatoes down here in Melbourne at my local fruit and veg shop. But they also have an amazing range of fresh fruit and veg which all taste amazing. Plenty of shops outside of Woolies and Coles have a wide range of tomatoes.

We were so spoiled in California, I guess. We used to turn our noses up at "store bought" tomatoes. Heirlooms were the way to go. Here? Those Safeway tomatoes would put this farm-fresh tomato to shame. What gives??

@MST_Writes Graduated my diploma last year. Worked out my optimal course load while doing it. Decided to have a break before going back for my bachelors. And though it’ll take me longer cause I can’t do more than 2 subjects. I’m not going to unnecessarily stress myself to do full time load.

@MST_Writes Yep. It’s not the end of the world. I recognised I wasn’t ready and I always had other pathways. Too much pressure on the exams and a good score. I’ve a 10 year old and one on the way. I’d rather a happy healthy child than a stressed one who thinks their score equals their worth.

My daughter is in Year 12. A low-stress version of Year 12 because she decided to go 'unscored'. That is, no ATAR score and therefore no exams. She still has to do the work, and pass, but that's it. After my initial shock, I've come to love her decision. Here's why ... 1/6
