This week, I had the distinct honor of welcoming our fallen heroes home at Dover Air Force Base. Earlier in the week, I was privileged to address the incredible members and supporters of the @TAPSorg family. It was my privilege to present the 2026 Senator Ted Stevens Leadership Award to Sara Wilson, a Navy widow who transformed profound loss into a lifetime of selfless service. Sara has been the quiet, unbreakable anchor for countless survivors, including the family of West Virginia Guardsman Andy Wolfe, in their darkest hours. Survivors lifting survivors, that is the soul of TAPS. God bless our fallen, their families, and this great Nation.
