@lyndonbajohnson Last time I was at the library, I found some really interesting stuff in the archives regarding water access for political patronage in Jamaica. Essentially the US wanted to upgrade the entire water system, but the JLP just wanted to dole that out for political patronage.

2018 was a blue wave. Talarico isn’t a better candidate than Beto. Cornyn sure is a stronger incumbent than Cruz. Texas was redder in 2016 than in 2024. So what’s the argument for this race being competitive? Does anyone want to dispute my last two points, or something else?
