Do better @Delta . 40 minute delay because of a broken trash can. Captain said it was fixed and they just had some paperwork to fill out. Should take 5-10 minutes and we’d be on our way. That was 20 minutes ago. Still delayed. I’ll never understand the inefficiency of airlines.

So thankful to have Dr. Tate Cockrell, professor of counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, speaking to us on cultural brokenness and how we can be #OnMissionTogether in showing and sharing the love of Jesus.

There’s been questions in the counseling world recently about clinically-informed biblical counseling and specifically what we teach and practice @sebts. My colleagues and I wrote this paper to clarify. Enjoy! sebts.edu/wp-content/upl…

I know few men who so grossly mistake their stubbornness for wisdom, their cowardice for courage, and their arrogance for humility. This rhetoric of this article is as absurd as it is grievous. Heath Lambert should be ashamed. fbcjax.com/first-thoughts…

Run away fast from biblical counselors who can't navigate relationships/friendships with other Christians who may disagree with their perspective. How are they going to help you reconcile your marriage biblically if they themselves won't do their part to reconcile with others?

I wrote this 3 weeks ago. So true today. Having known David very well, and respecting him deeply, I know that David would not want to be used as the “gate-keeper,” nor as the one to look to for biblical counseling orthodoxy. David would always point to Christ. He never wanted a 1 Corinthians 3:4 attitude of “I am of Paul. I am of Apollos.” Or, “I am of Jay Adams. I am of David Powlison.” rpmministries.org/2024/04/cherry…
