Our fans are getting emotional about Carrick. He was brought in to steady the ship and he’s done that perfectly. But that doesn’t mean he’s the long-term answer. I’ve said it before we were even linked Iraola should be the priority. Passing on that kind of profile for sentiment? That’s how you end up back looking for a new manager by Christmas. We have all seen it play out before!

One thing Michael Carrick did that I love is he just went back to the basis, traditional 4-2-3-1, no unnecessary passing out from the back or over complicating things, he’s kept it simple and you can see it in United’s play. At times, just keep it SIMPLE, everyone can’t be Pep!

He brought in Ade Oladipo, who is a top boxing presenter, he hosts the biggest fights you can think of. Everyone knows him. He also brought in DAZN, number one in the boxing game worldwide. There were also some top fights like Ezra Arenyeka V Godday Appah. Dr. Ezekiel did everything right, and it can definitely get better. He also got top celebrities like E-Money to pump money into this. Just hand him the boxing federation, because there are very good boxers on the streets of Nigeria that needs refining and opportunities but that federation is next to dead. Hand it over to private individuals like Dr. Ezekiel, let them transform it. I know he’s into promotions and marketing, but he seems like someone who knows the sport, you can hear him already talking about the next fight in October, talking about progress in the sports in the country and Africa at large, more fighters will be given opportunities consequently, these are the people that should be at the forefront of the sport, not some folks who are just stealing our money. PS: I do not know this man before today, just what I observed and the whole organisation of this is beyond impressive, considering we don’t see these things often in this part of the world.
