I'm excited about this new partnership with LiveRamp. Until now, clean rooms were missing a number of key features, and LR's new Safe Haven for Publishers checks a lot of those boxes. This will open up a lot of new possibilities for marketers and publishres to work together

CafeMedia, which manages the tech and sales for titles like MacRumors and Thought Catalog, is working with tech platform LiveRamp to offer its data clean room Safe Haven solution to the millions of readers across CafeMedia’s 4,000 creators’ sites. adweek.it/41xt7P1

“I believe that we are headed to a world where deterministic data will be the gold standard. #GDPR already outlaws probabilistic data and I think we will see the US ecosystem follow that lead.” Travis Clinger, (@tclinger) SVP Activations and Addressability, LiveRamp. #ALM2023

@Myles_Younger Secondly, I don't believe this is true. Cookies are written against a specific origin like .sfgate.com, so a CNAME would give access to 1P cookies, but if the browser thinks it's connecting to liveramp.sfgate.com, it isn't going to send rlcdn.com cookies.

Bravo for including a step-by-step walkthrough using an example. These are quite rare but they should be a requirement for all bylines TBH. "CNAME Will Face The Same Fate As Third-Party Cookies. Then What?" adexchanger.com/the-sell-sider…

While Google has announced that 3p cookies on Chrome will be phased out in mid-2024, there has never been a better time to move to people-based identity. Chrome may have delayed, but the industry must keep moving forward to be independent from the cookie. liveramp.com/blog/cookies-g…

If someone tells you their tech is cookieless and it doesn't use hashed emails, it's definitely fingerprinting.

One upside of the future of identity is that, with CTV platforms and channels requiring log-ins, the move to email and other more persistent identifiers will be a cross-device/user improvement over IP address.
