@realestateneal ya it broke my brain for a while, too. It adds up to 200%...100% of the longs and 100% of the shorts. If you add up every long (plus spreads) you'll get total OI. If you add up every short (plus spreads) you'll get total OI. And this is bc for every short, there is a long

This is the biggest short position from commercial hedgers (by % of open interest) I can remember in a December.
