This is pretty much my outlook on the 24-team playoff. Need to have faith that regardless of what implications a game may have, the culture of CFB fans is what’s going to make the game’s meaning important. As on Ohio State alum and fan, I will always be out for blood against Michigan. Especially the week of The Game and regardless of whether both teams have a solidified spot in a 24-team playoff or not. The idea of losing and being able to say “we’ll see you in the playoffs” is sort of cool anyway.
Just adding to my point that ichigan is the most “OMG LOOK AT ME!” university to ever exist. A large banner outside their football stadium for an asterisk title, a large banner outside of their basketball arena and this large ass signage in their practice gym for a tamper title. They want attention and for everyone to recognize them so badly.
