Like I don't get this. I assume if it can store 12 cards it can store fewer. Why do you need to say something like it can store 5-8 cards? Unless 8 is a lie and 5 is the real max?

I ran the cryptography mailing list. I know all of the people involved. I think it’s unlikely that Adam was Satoshi. He’s just the latest in a long line of people that various reporters have incorrectly claimed to have “definitively demonstrated” was Satoshi.

The problem with these is survivorship bias. What type of person watches the 8th season of a show when the prior 5 seasons were awful? Usually it’s people who didn’t actually find the past five seasons awful. So the people who hate it fall away and the mega fans stay and keep watching, biasing your measurements. While I’m at it: the time you take these snapshots also matters. Soon after an episode airs, only the super fans have rated it. Years later, after casuals have watched it, the average rating will have fallen substantially.

im addicted to series graph now v surprised by how lost is rated though, i remember the quality gradually deteriorating and the last episode being absolute dogshit. ("The Constant," S4 E5 is correctly rated tho ofc)
