Our latest safety data from over 170M miles—about 200 human lifetimes of driving—shows 13x fewer crashes with serious injuries compared to human drivers. I’m proud of our team's commitment to this important work and the evidence that shows we are improving road safety in the cities in which we operate.✨

Our new safety data is in 📈 Over 170M miles through Dec 2025, the Waymo Driver was involved in 13x fewer serious injury or worse crashes than human drivers in those same cities. Great conversation with @EdLudlow on @Bloomberg today about @Waymo’s $16B raise, scaling to over 400K paid trips per week across six U.S. cities, and what it takes to expand to 20+ cities in the U.S. and abroad.
