Documenting Jew Hatred on Campus at Columbia U@CampusJewHate

What happens when someone who isn’t a pro-Hamas member attempts to go onto the West Lawn of @Columbia that the pro-Hamas mob is currently illegally occupying? A brave soul attempted to such in this video. You can overhear pro-Hamas security guards informing the person trying to go onto the West Lawn that she must comply with the “Community Guidelines,” which pro-Hamas made up and enforces. One of the security guards is Professor Sarah Haley of @Columbia’s Department of History. Faculty members are literally promoting and enabling this apartheid, oppressive system! The West Lawn of @Columbia is public space for the entire university community to use. It is NOT owned by pro-Hamas. Enough is enough. Time for the illegal occupation and apartheid system to end. Discrimination has no place on Columbia’s campus or anywhere in civilized society. #CallNYPD #CallNationalGuard

A "no comment" sign, really. Kinda like "Welcome to the gender equality zone! Women must have a male escort & wear a skirt."

Los Angeles voted 12-0 to ban new drilling and to close all 5,000 existing oil and gas wells in the city. This is a historic victory by @STAND_LA and all citizens over the oil industry and environmental racism. IT CAN BE DONE! Who's next? #ActOnClimate #climate

@PhilipProudfoot What she was protesting is irrelevant. What matters is that the university administration did not allow it and called the police to remove the protesters.

A masked police officer arresting the Chair of the Philosophy department at Emory University for taking part in anti-genocide protests. This feels like a historic image.

The veiled threats come days after the full syllabus for the course went viral online and sparked outrage from prominent doctors—including former Harvard Medical School dean Jeffrey Flier—who said it was filled with unscientific claptrap and called for an investigation.

@CandideIII the best part is as far as i know no one has ever thought to use this as a means of riot control but it's perfectly nonviolent give police a solution that lets them load up the water cannons with diamine solution, soak some deranged cultists with corpse juice, and call it a day

I acknowledge that by the labor theory of property the Coast Salish people can claim historical ownership of almost none of the land currently occupied by the University of Washington.

@lhfang What do you mean "rapidly moving towards"? This is exactly what "anti-hate" laws are supposed to do, and who they are used against depends on the will of the people in power. Zero surprises.

The U.S. is rapidly moving towards utilizing "anti-hate" laws to criminalize and surveil nonviolent protesters demanding peace in Israel-Palestine. It was obvious this framework would be weaponized against left-leaning activists just as it was used against some on the right.

@RVAwonk Why are "obvious bad actors and infiltrators" allowed in the protest by the organizers? Do they call them out?

Don’t post videos of obvious bad actors and infiltrators at campus protests just so you can use them to (mis)represent the side you oppose. It gives them attention they don’t deserve, and it makes you look either naive or deceptive.

@DTheKingpin @StewMama71 It's also interesting to see how often so-called progressives use misogynistic attacks or mock the appearance of their opponents showing whether they truly hold the values they claim.

You don’t have to like or agree with Clarence Thomas. I don’t agree with everything he says or does. But it irks me when white progressives feel like they have the right to attack a Black person on Black issues because you disagree with them politically. Mind your business. Being a “progressive” doesn’t give you a pass to be a racist. Screw you and screw the Black progressives that made you comfortable enough to boldly deploy every negative Black stereotype in existence as long as it’s against their political enemies.
Mike Sington@MikeSington

Stephen A. Crockett Jr., HuffPost: “Clarence Thomas is the Black person Clarence Thomas warned you about. He’s been all the things he claims to hate about Black people: He’s a welfare queen, a duplicitous double agent, a diversity hire, a beneficiary of reparations, and a minstrel show. And Anita Hill tried to warn us. She tried to tell us that Thomas was inappropriate at best and vile at worst. She tried to tell us that Thomas was not the man he presented himself as. He was not an upstanding man of good moral character. A Black woman once again tried to save America from itself, but America doesn’t care about Black women. Thomas’ pension is full. He’s daring someone to discipline him, because he knows that he’s coasting at a job that no longer serves him, and he’s given up even acting like he gives a shit. He’s the employee who has turned in his two weeks’ notice and has begun taking two-hour lunches with impunity.”

It's hard to understand why an economics professor showing concern for a student would be thrown to the ground and arrested. This is not an obvious way to defuse a crisis.

It is worth watching this CNN video from the moment Emory Econ Professor @CarolineFohlin came across the violent arrest of a protester on campus and asked the police, with shock, "What are you doing?" That's all that prompted an officer to hurl her to the ground and handcuff her.

@micahsb @DumisaniTemsgen @DemoConscience If an extreme but sizable group of Catholics opposed liberal values and carried multiple terrorist attacks with thousands of American victims, then I would understand why some people would want to restrict Catholic immigration or at least have more scrutiny.

Observe how Israel haters have a problem with Zionism, a real liberation movement, but are just fine with Arab/Islamic imperialism in which millions of Africans are enslaved, slaughtered, or displaced.
