Drug tested by doctor, popped for weed, and now I have lost my adderall prescription. What can I do now?

@ALEXAGY0 First thing...don’t try to game the system or hide anything. Prescribers take that seriously, especially with meds like Adderall. The best move is to be direct and calm when you talk to your doctor

@ALEXAGY0 go somewhere else i’ve been on and off adderall for years been to 4 different doctors for it they all care about the weed but most are willing to still prescribe you and just say you know you really shouldn’t be smoking weed say it’s minimal not daily “even if it is” and ur good

I met a psychiatrist who told me that when he’s evaluating people for ADHD, he sends them a bunch of pre-visit paperwork to fill out before the appointment. He said if they finish it, then he doesn’t prescribe.

@jason041978 @aas_ker i’ve been through this everyone reinforces the idea people can’t pull through but getting a job and taking care of urself even when it feels like ur being dragged down the pits of hell every time you come back up on the other side it gets a lil easier even if it feels impossible

Sucking it up and moving on. You have anxiety and depression. We all have that. You process those feelings, work through those feelings, counteract those feelings with a productive hobby that requires your brain to disconnect from the extreme emotions that hinder your progress in life. Weakness is letting those emotions control your day to day life.

without drugs... what is the greatest weapon against anxiety and depression????

@beastiehoy33 @jason041978 @aas_ker like u have to force urself to fix it get a job go everyday take care of urself make a routine and every time it feels like pure hell to get through it you get through it anyway and eventually it’s not so bad never clears but it gets better fr thinking u can’t is why u haven’t
