I want to sincerely appreciate the humility and care of Seyi Tinubu @STinubu when one of the close protection details(DSS) of Mr President while making this particular video called me and seized my phone and asked "why are you videoing ST", I didn't know Seyi Tinubu was watching all that was going and politely told the DSS man to "Pls give him back the phone,He is an official of convention"

@SavvyRinu "We should do better, as we are close to election year."? So its because you're close to election year that you think it's now time to do better, Mr Minister? This is not an apology but pride coated in arrogance, screaming 'I have nothing to offer you, just take what you see'

This is the motorcade of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer when heading to his office yesterday - only 3 motorcycles, 2 cars, and 1 police SUV. They all had their function. The UK is a $3.96 trillion economy, while Nigeria is a $252 billion economy, less than 10% of the UK's.✍️

I am just seeing the VIDEO of Remi Tinubu's convoy during her visit to Delta state for a chieftaincy coronation last month. This is crass profligacy. The vain and lavish lifestyle of the Tinubu dynasty is not sustainable for Nigeria! You waste so much but produce nothing!✍️

Let me help the Home Secretary @ShabanaMahmood with her immigration policies. All settled immigrants with indefinite leave to remain or a British passport who cannot speak English or a proper one at that should have their ILR withdrawn and their citizenship revoked. Let her propose a policy like that. I will support her wholeheartedly. I want to check out something😜

@Alakatunde @DeleMomodu Trade and investment in a country ridden with security threats? Guy, use your brain na! If he really wants to attract FDI, he should curb the insecurity and improve on basic amenities. Nigeria is too wealthy to be struggling with all these problems in 2026

I get the frustration, and yes, spectacle alone doesn’t solve Nigeria’s problems. But visits like Tinubu’s to England aren’t just for show; they open doors for trade, investment, and partnerships. Comparing today’s debt with Obasanjo’s era ignores context. Critique is fair, but dismissing diplomacy entirely oversimplifies things. Ceremony and substance can and should go hand in hand.

This is class… Last week, I waited for the excitement, and giddiness, of President Tinubu’s visit to England to die down before writing my own observations. President Tinubu was well received, with pomp and pageantry. In terms of flamboyance and entertainment, it was beautiful. But in matters of substance, it failed spectacularly. I was embarrassed, and scandalized, when some Tinubu acolytes came on air to jubilate, and even conspired to insult former President Olusegun Obasanjo, by saying he’ll be very jealous of the reception accorded President Tinubu at Windsor Castle, by King Charles III. Such chicanery. In 2003, during Obasanjo’s reign, 23 years ago, December 3-6, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the mother of today’s King, traveled to Abuja, Nigeria, Nigeria with The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. In fact, The Duke was dispatched to Lagos to attend some events. This was the height, if not the peak, of Nigeria’s glory, on the world stage… Under OBASANJO, Nigeria’s external debts were written off. But today, the debts have more than quadrupled. My humble appeal is that we should get our priorities right. It smacks of inferiority complex for nearly all our cabinet and Governors to empty themselves to England for nothing more than a banquet and carriage rides, while hundreds of fellow citizens were being exterminated at home… It shall be well with us…

Sir, there’s absolutely no need to try to prove him right. You shouldn’t explain to someone who isn’t ready to listen because his own government can’t provide basic amenities for him. Amenities that will make him realise that a car isn’t worth it in a developed country where everything is readily available

This is what happens when you destroy a nation bountifully blessed with natural resources and manpower that was supposed to strategically grow economically and independently. Even its citizens keep rejecting their nation openly and becoming allies with those seeking to exploit them, thinking they are doing the right thing. If war breaks out, people like this will blow up their village if given the order. How many Americans can join other country’s military? Nigerian politicians and people are intentionally destroying this country for their own gain, especially those allying with terrorists to destroy it.

Want investors to flock to your country? Build the basics; reliable electricity for factories & homes, real security for lives & property, strong economic fundamentals, and quality healthcare. Do that right, and you won’t need to chase them, they’ll come begging to partner. Backward thinking blocks progress. Time to level up! Sheesh!!!

lots of comments under the Governor's @jidesanwoolu post but it seems many do not understand what's going on but I will explain. Every governor, ministers, businessmen you see there in the United kingdom are there for the country, ask me how! The governors are there to bring investment to their state while the ministers are there based on their ministries to bring investment and sign MOU that will bring development to the country, the businessmen can tap into this agreement to make their businesses get advantages in order to make Nigeria get the best.

Dear Politician, Marcus Aurelius in his meditation said, “Do not act as if thou wert going to live ten thousand years. Death hangs over thee. While thou livest, while it is in thy power, be good.” He had a man holding a laurel crown over his head while whispering “Look behind you. Remember you are only a man. Remember you will die.” This was to prevent hubris; to keep the triumphant figure grounded and remind him that, despite all the glory and adulation, he was mortal like everyone else. Nuff said!

Rice for women, N50,000 for the youths, t-shirts and drinks for campaigners, while “His Excellency” wears shoes worth millions of Naira. This is the sad story of a rich State with dilapidated schools everywhere, a State that is notorious for high unemployment, about 600,000 out of school children and embarrassing level of poverty. Within his first few months in office, Governor Umo Eno started and completed a mansion for himself in Ewet Housing Estate (the most expensive part of the State). He has continued the ostentatious lifestyle and very reckless waste of resources like his predecessors. I see people praising him for his outstanding dressing and fashion sense. That is what you get when people transition from citizens to slaves. The madness in Akwa Ibom cannot be cured through prayers and fasting. When people don’t ask critical questions, politicians get away with murder. Umo Eno has gotten away with murder.
