Fully migrated from @Railway to @render after yesterday's outage. Took about 6 hours to stand everything up and migrate the DB. Most stressful part was trying to achieve zero downtime switching DNS over.

Agent-friendly hosting providers? Specifically for Rails + Postgres + Redis. Ideally with a history of stability, especially over the past 6-12 months.

@render can you provide a read only API? I want to give Claude Code access. I want it to read server logs & metrics from around the time of issues. Currently, I have to manually copy paste and take screenshots. Very laborious and unreliable. I am a solo dev, I've run about 20 services on your platform over the last year. Reach out to me if you have any further questions or need any info. We (customers) pay a premium for Render hosting compared to lower cost alternatives, so we should have these features as standard. Thanks.

AI makes building software feel instant. Legacy clouds still make shipping it feel like filing taxes with YAML. It took @render 5 years to reach 1M developers. The latest 1M joined in 80 days. Now 6M+ and accelerating. Shipping should always have been the easy part. It finally is.

I don't understand the premise that "agents must use stablecoins." Why can't an agent remember the 16 digits of a credit card? Sorry maybe I'm a payments n00b. Stablecoins have a lot of great use cases, but ecommerce shopping is pretty well optimized already for cards.

I got married this past weekend so I did what any rational @AnthropicAI employee would do and had Claude Code analyze 12 years of iMessages with my wife, then Claude Design used that data to whip up a website for our guests in just minutes.

We're removing seat fees from our pricing. Our new Pro plan is $25/mo, flat. Add your entire team at no additional cost. We've structured our new plans from the ground up to make pricing fairer and more scalable for teams shipping faster with AI. What we're changing 🧵

@render Hmmm. The below is not explicitly listed as a benefit for Scale vs Pro and given recent security incidents everywhere pretty lame. > Enforced 2FA and/or Google account login will be disabled for your team. You can continue to use 2FA for your individual account. Learn more.

@robertvhoesel @render Nope, there's no change with those security features! All users can still set up 2FA for their accounts. And workspaces on the Pro plan can still enforce 2FA or Google login for members.

@render Yes, but you loose enforcing 2FA or Google login for your team. Otherwise great chances but this feels like bullying into a higher plan for basic security enforcement.

@render Honestly one of the most frustrating platforms I’ve used to host anything. Worst user experience, slow, unreliable and just a shitty platform....

@anuraggoel @golang @render Rust is not enough better than go that’s it’s worth re writing stuff in. But it’s still better. With the caveat that if you care about fast iteration cycles the compile times may hurt

Our @golang load balancer at @render handles more than 150 billion HTTP requests a month across millions of services. The number of times we've wanted to rewrite it in Rust: zero. Go is the most underrated language in infrastructure. "Boring" is the ultimate feature.

rebuilt answer hq this weekend to be fully using agentic tool calling loops instead of a basic single-turn rag, our HQ Agent can query each customer's knowledge bases (across zendesk, shopify, answer hq), to find information it needs can't wait to launch this!

One month at @render just beat an entire quarter. In March, we added more net new ARR than in all of Q1 2025. 4.8x YoY. 86% above our prior record. Nearly all of this was word of mouth. Developers telling other developers. That compounding is real. Proud of this team.

Hi there @render - we ❤️you! AgentSH (agentsh.org) now supports Render - github.com/canyonroad/age… There are a few things that would be great to enable to have better support for executing long running agentic workloads on render - happy to discuss more (DM is open)!
