It's unfortunate that MCP actually solves pretty much all problems people have with agents today, it's just that all of the first implementations of it were bad so people discredit it now The latest one is skill distribution, works so well for that

Postgres is just incredible. We avg ~500k-1M db writes a minute. And it just handles it like a champ. Incredible tek.

How does one build and deploy long running agents on @vercel? The 800-second function timeout doesn't seem to help.

Migrated web app to @render from @heroku. Mixed first impressions: Dashboard: environments are v useful, everything is a tad too muted CLI: I wish I could use service names ('data-fetcher') not IDs ('rv-e1nsr2kqw6ea61afkae7'), --confirm flag still makes me confirm 🤷‍♂️

nice little hack is asking Claude "based on the guidance and examples I've given you over past chats, write a skill.md for what good writing looks like" toss in a "make no mistakes" for good measure

We have quick user feedback loops (4.5 million devs on @render) and another $100m in the bank Well on the path to being: - the best infra stack for startups and enterprises to build agents - the best cloud for agents to build and deploy code come join: #open-roles" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">render.com/careers#open-r…
Anurag Goel@anuraggoel

We’ve raised $100M at a $1.5B valuation. We built Render to give developers an intuitive path to reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure. Now, we are bringing that same philosophy to long-running, stateful infrastructure for AI apps & agents. 🧵

@avg_engineer_ @render This has been fixed now! I'd recommend opening a support ticket next time (hopefully never) you experience an issue, so we don't miss it.

If you're thinking of leaving Heroku, here's a simple mapping: If you want the easiest switch, go with Render. If you want Docker and more flexibility, go with Fly. If you want to be a sysadmin, use a VPS (don't need to scale) or Amazon ECS (do need to scale)
