I was living in Rhode Island during the BLM riots. I watched mobs torch police cars, smash business windows, and attack officers in the streets.
Every single day, I had to look at that George Floyd mural, even though I hated it.
And now Mayor Smiley has the nerve to say that honoring Iryna Zarustka—a Ukrainian refugee brutally murdered by a repeat violent criminal—is “divisive” and just right-wing propaganda.
