@bckyrdndstry @bigthornfarm Ginger and turmeric need a long, hot, humid season and sandy soil. Henry creates those tropical conditions in a hoophouse, and gets the ginger into the ground in early April. Even then, it's often not quite fully mature when we dig it up in November. Good luck!
