Does anyone else feel that the newer Yemeni coffee shops have a “UAE aesthetic” to them? A sleek, minimalist look with bright lights, no cultural branding, zero ornamentation, and Instagrammability over taste? While the older ones lean more into cultural heritage, traditional craft, and slow brewing? This is a very hyper-local niche question but is anyone talking about the Emiratification of NYC Yemeni coffee shops?
