@LakotaMan1 I do agree. Parents are afraid that they do not know how to justify the policies and history of this country. They do not know how to disbelieve what they have learned from their educations. They have a sense of betrayal through history that they cannot wrap their heads around.

When I was in 6th grade I was the only Native kid at my school. My teacher, a white man, gifted me this book. His generosity and mentorship had a deeply profound impact on my life. His memory continues to inspire me to share with you — Indigenous culture, history and grievances.
