So. A wild #Mavic4 popped up in China yesterday, notice the absence of sensors on the front and the camera being a perfect sphere making it possible to even photograph straight up. Will we see this before Christmas? Cheers!

🎄A THRUWAY HOLIDAY TRADITION: We were once again honored to (briefly) host the @rockcenternyc Christmas tree at our tandem lot in Rockland County. The tree is making its way from Vestal to Manhattan and weighs about 12 tons and is 80 feet tall. We can't wait to see it lit up!🎄

🚨 Prusa MINI Print presets update time! My favourite is the STRUCTURAL as I print mostly functional parts and not just show pieces 🔩 BTW: I saw some people confused about standard profiles not producing Benchies as fast as our demos. When creating profiles, we need to be absolutely sure it will print all types of models with the biggest success rate 📈 and this leaves some performance on the table. In fact, we are rather conservative. If you want to test the limits more, you can import the config from our demo gcodes in @PrusaSlicer File > Import > Import Config 💡 AND you can still push it even more with travel around 500mm/s 🐎🤯

@OriginaldoBo The issue with this is say there was someone like Skylio spawned off for camera drones or any for that matter. What are the bars that need to be met with this new set of drones? Can it even be met to avoid the plethora of reviews that will be hitting the new company hard?

The US literally has no decent consumer drone manufacturers.. the whole videographer and photographer genre completely alienated with lack of options.

These companies will never change because newer drone pilots don’t understand that they are being screwed. They completely devalue the service and the only way to stop it is through education from people who understand what’s really possible.

Hey @dronebase - what a complete disgrace to the entire drone industry companies like you are. A $50 payout for a job is embarrassingly low, not a single person should accept this. As a drone service provider, how are you supposed to make ANY money from a job like this when you factor in: - travel costs - equipment costs - pilot certification - insurance coverage If you are signed up for ANY of these drone subcontracting services, I encourage you to immediately send their emails to spam and find the work on your own. You’ll make more money, establish great relationships, and feel way more accomplished.

Among the more interesting tidbits from #XPO23 that I learned from reliable sources is that a major US drone manufacturer is going to exit the consumer market, to focus only on enterprise/government/military. Just as happened with @Parrot, actually. Unsurprising but newsworthy.
