@forwardnotback My beloved step-father was diagnosed with HF out of the blue in Nov 24. He never responded to treatment and despite heroic efforts to find out why, he left us last year in March. Cannot tell you how moved and thrilled I am every time you take a step forward.

*Proud Face* With assistance I made this - ok it is a ready meal I’m too ‘wobbly’ and frail atm to use cooker alone but I did help 😀 Pudding was all me - opened a tin and added jam (needed a bit of help with the lid) In a years time I will look back at this and laugh💪

@MartinSLewis It may be controversial but having run a large scale tech support operation the more people we employed and made it easier for people to call the less they bothered to read the manual which answered over 50% of the calls we got. Lack of self help pushed costs up for everyone

Just had another "we are currently experiencing a unusually large volume of calls - and will be with you as soon as possible" message. JUST BE HONEST instead record "we are currently understaffing our call centres, we will be with you as quickly as is financially expedient!"

@SaraSoueidan “My main takeaway is that accessibility isn’t a burden; it’s an opportunity to do better and build a web that works for everyone.” I will be sharing this. Thank you.

Yesterday I came across this article: More than a checklist: three things that changed how I see accessibility dreamonkey.com/en/blog/more-t… Yusuf shared how taking my course has transformed how he sees #accessibility and how it redefined what 'quality' work means. 📷 Made my day!

There is definitely an issue in the motor industry when a brand new car offered with a 37% discount from list hasn't sold after 6 weeks, and who knows how long it had been in stock before the discount was advertised.

@andyps1275 124 mile range - and that's Mazda's figure. So, 90 m in real life but don't put the heater on or drive at night with all the lights on. Heaven help you if you want fog lights and radio. Around year 3 that will be nearer 60 safe miles -or two round trips to the supermarket.

@ReinBijlsma @flightradar24 Newark for me too. I did not know what a go-around was and they did not announce what was happening until afterwards. It was terrifying. We managed to land but so many people were violently ill.

@Joanna__Hardy This is Josh. This was taken at the end of May, when we knew there were just a couple of days before his last. He was 12. His hobbies included being hilarious and being the sweetest soul all day long.

@greendoondoon I had to do that 8 weeks ago. It’s the most shocking, surreal thing to do. I’m so sorry for your loss.

@RobynPorteous You are really not. This journey we go on is not as smooth and linear as a weight chart in the nurse's office. If you can clear some time this week or over the weekend, you could try a BF 'babymoon' which can be a little boost for you both.

Rough mom-ing day. Plenty of tears after her vaccines (hers and mine). And she hasn’t gained the amount of weight she should have since her last weigh-in. Not far short, but stressful nonetheless. Breastfeeding will humble you, let me tell you.

@henrymance Yes, that looks really similar to the Gridserve at Cornwall Services. I drive long distances in my EV, and I really do not find charging the drama that many people who do not have an EV imagine it is. cornwall-services.com/gridserve/

@FoInsight @RoyStew78036358 @PoliticsMoments Chemo for dogs/cats is completely different to chemo for humans. They are given it at far lower dosages, as a tablet often, and the vast majority experience no to few side-effects. It does not usually aim to cure the cancer, but to extend their lives and relieve cancer symptoms.

@RobynPorteous Your baby is still tiny, and you’re both learning this new skill together. Don’t beat yourself up about not doing it in public at this early stage, or ever. There’s a good chance that in say 2/3 months, you’ll be more practiced and confident. Either way, you’re doing great, mom♥️

I honestly wish I had the courage to breastfeed openly and uncovered in public. Internalised systems of modesty be damned.

@wasjustfrontin @SaraSoueidan Depending on where they are located in the world, a company or organisation may be legally required to publish a modern slavery statement. For example, public sector organisations and companies with a turnover over a certain amount in the UK.

Friends in the Twitterverse, I'm curious: What does "ethical web design/development" mean to you? How do you define it? What exactly makes it ethical to you?
