What's now interesting in the Dissident Right sphere is that the doomers let the left frame their entire opinon of the Trump administration DOGE is a good example. Because the MSM isnt freaking out about DOGE & Elon, they assume its dead On immigration. Because the NYT isnt whining about it daily, they assume nothing is happening These doomer types are whipped dogs, finding excuses to lay in the corner and give up Not a bone in their body wants to win
America First Insight@AF_Insight

This explains like 95% of "its not happening". DOGE is a key example. DOGE has continued to work hard and because its not jangled like keys, people forget. Even those whose only issue are said issue.

This is a concept that is key to understanding midwit psychology. They only have the cognitive bandwidth to have 1 moderately complex idea running at any given time. So if a bad idea is uploaded it’s going to be stuck there, dominating their world view for a very long time.

The last time I was in Midtown Manhattan with my kids, a homeless black man bent into my youngest's stroller and screamed in his face. I had to shove him off and yell "get the fuck off him." Due to policy decisions by NY politicians, these encounters are the norm.

Americans… this is a good faith question. I’m not baiting or trolling. Why are you so scared of condos and walkable cities? Does not having to drive for your groceries freak you out? What about it makes you uncomfortable? Please be honest.

@avidseries Lower rates of divorce, teenage pregnancy, smoking or drunk driving are because people are socializing less. People have less sex, are less likely to marry and don't go out for a drink as often as people did in the past. These are signs of civilizational decay, not progress.

This, along with the declining divorce rate and record-low smoking rates and the fall in drunk driving, are all very good things that rarely get discussed in online doomer circles. The rightwingers who think that teenagers having babies is a good thing (because it gets women started earlier in producing offspring) are typically the same weirdos who want to lock women into archaic gender roles.
Jill Filipovic@JillFilipovic

I think it's good that fewer teenagers are having babies.

@avidseries The divorce rate is still about 50% but it's declining slightly because people now get married far less in the first place. Congrats. The other two are because of the massive switch to marijuana, which is terrible. Alcohol wasn't great, but it's preferable.

@avidseries Less teenage pregnancies is good, but the reason why is not. Gen-Z are doing less risk-taking behaviour all round (drinking, smoking, driving, sex) because they're not DOING anything. They are terminally online and never go out. That's not good.

I hosted a conversation between a Dissident Right intellectual called Dave Greene and a self-described "Vulture Socialist" called Benjamin Studebaker. Both agree that we must move beyond Democracy and the failures of neoliberalism, albeit from very different perspectives. Link to full conversation is in the replies⬇️

This 25 year old was the father of an infant daughter and had an unborn son on the way. His life had incalculable value and we traded it for the continued freedom of four lowlifes to have one more night out, one more bottle, and one more day on this planet to do absolutely nothing of value. His life mattered. Theirs are completely optional. Sharing our society with people like this is a policy choice. These incomprehensible horrors do not have to be a fact of life.

How ruthlessly effective is the Democrat machine? Eric Swalwell is asked to drop out of the race because a Republicans may actually win. He refuses. Party operatives tap into their pool of white liberal feminists and just like that, he's hit with not one...not two, but FOUR sexual assault accusations. Of course, none of the victims can remember any details, just that it happened. The exact Blasey-Ford and E. Jean Carrol playbook. Within an hour, the victim is being interviewed on @CNN. The email goes out. Almost immediately, the teacher's union is condemning him and Schumer, Pelosi, Jeffries and every other Democrat on Twitter is calling for him to drop out of the race. Keep in mind, when Tara Reade accused Biden of forcibly sexually abusing her, they called her a liar and nobody called for him to drop out. This is all a coordinated attack because they've seen the internal polling that Steve Hilton may actually win this thing and they are sacrificing Swalwell because liberal idiots like him are a dime a dozen.

PSA: In case it wasn’t clear, this isn’t the 16th century. There is no active religious war between Protestants and Catholics in 2026. In our time, the active religious war is between the people who broadly follow Christian values and want to pass a world formed by such on to their children, and the ruling class religion that wants to burn that world, with its tradition, to make room for some technocratic millenarian utopia. I am all for holding fast to one’s tradition in their full strength. But if you are sabotaging the lifelines of your children’s future just to make a vain point over a war that was settled centuries ago then I think you need to re-examine your priorities.

One thing that I will never full understand is the incuriousness of these people. If you show me a mob that just killed a guy my first question is going to be why? Turns out that information is almost always readily available. But they’re content with assuming the reason is racial hatred or something. That’s just not how people behave, yet it’s routinely accepted by otherwise intelligent people.

Very classic urban Dem politician move where when horrific crimes like this happen under their watch they blame this nebulous concept of "violence," as if it's an uncontrollable force like weather, sad, nothing to be done! They'll add in "gun" like this when they can because that allows them to subtly imply that gun-obsessed conservatives are the ones actually responsible
NY AG James@NewYorkStateAG

My heart is heavy today after a baby’s life was stolen by this senseless act of gun violence in Brooklyn. I'm praying for this child’s family and loved ones. May they rest in peace. We must keep working to end gun violence. amny.com/new-york/brook…

This is clickbait trash and completely discrediting to the @DailyMail. Spoke to a LEO who told me fragmentation that makes it impossible to get a match to ANY weapon happens all the time. Yet the Daily Mail is echoing Tyler Robinson’s defense team nearly verbatim. They did NOT quote a single law-enforcement officer not connected to Robinson’s defense who would’ve given their readers a better understanding of what’s happening here. They’re purely leaning into this because they know there are a bunch of rabid conspiracy theorists who will not take the time to understand this. Which makes the Daily Mail and its reporter scum in my book.

@FischerKing64 It's cool that the conservative ethos is "the constitution is a living document where you can ignore the plain meaning of the words because the people who wrote it were ignorant, of their time and obviously didn't comprehend what the world would become."

The SCOTUS birthright citizenship case will bring much into focus. The very idea is stupid beyond belief, and is being openly exploited with birth tourism - which is used to subvert us. But do 9 old lawyers have a finger in a rule book and a hand in their crotch? And if they do - should we go along with a suicidal ruling? Really - if SCOTUS tells us birthright citizenship is ‘the law of the land,’ which would mean a Chinese woman who plans birth in San Diego can pump out a bonafide American citizen - do we do along with that? The implications are terribly destructive. It would mean someone born in San Diego but raised in Beijing is as American as apple pie - doesn’t need a visa to study at Stanford. Spying would be a lot easier. If SCOTUS doesn’t get this, isn’t moved by the open reality - it’s an institution that has had its time.
