Been working to pass independent oversight of @VADOC for over three years now. A couple years ago the bill didn’t make it out of its first subcommittee hearing. This year it was unanimous in both chambers and just got signed by the Governor. Biggest win of my career!

Wanna talk about standing up for victims of crime? Then put your $$$ where your mouth is. I don’t see @JasonMiyaresVA fighting to fund victims services that @GovernorVA left out of his budget.
