Fan Coalition 58 FC58 The Greatest Club in the World NEEDS the Greatest Fan Representation in the World This year we received an unprecedented mandate to represent our fanbase in matters of great importance. We are not going to let you down. Whilst we closely monitor the potential for Sir Jim to remove the Glazers from the club, we will create the organisation to forcibly make it happen if that is necessary. Currently everyone is in a state of limbo and it’s pragmatic to let things play out and run a natural course. However, we see this as a window of opportunity and a lot of works been going on behind the scenes. We have not been sitting idle. Today we announce the creation of FC58 an alternative supporters collective and representation. A true independent fan coalition. This will be the largest, active, passionate and independent fan coalition on the planet. This is founded on our values, credibility and integrity we have built from nothing and doing the right thing for our club and fanbase, no matter what the consequences. The demands of our supporters that are in the best interests of everything Sir Matt Busby created, will no longer be ignored, patronised or silenced. This will be outlined in our Supporters Charter of what we stand for and represent, which hasn’t taken us 18 years to release. Multiple fan reps recall that we were told it’s a ‘5 year project finishing in 2030’, not 5 years post acquisition and planning. This is a lie. The stadium project is on its arse, and they’re doing everything they can to try and get it back on track. Say no to a new stadium.

Like all surveys put out on key issues, without expansive context and detailed arguments for and against, the results are rendered meaningless and can be manipulated to support any narrative whilst maintaining the facade of ‘consultation’. Should our representatives not be demanding a halt to any plans to leave Old Trafford until there’s been a much more thorough consultation with the match going supporters?

🗣️Old Trafford: Stolen in Plain Sight Supporters asked to engage with a process that offered limited transparency and no meaningful opportunity to scrutinise key assumptions, financial models, or long term impacts. Engagement through pre selected forums without genuine challenge risked exactly what it became, a rubber stamping exercise rather than an open consultation. The club in full PR mode wheeling out all the bollocks when we all know this is nothing more than sacrificing our home at the altar of greed. Old Trafford is all we have left our history, our home, our identity and now even that is being chipped away, piece by piece. The Americanisation of the game, the dilution of fan culture, the pricing out of generational supporters. It’s not just change, it’s loss. The 1958 🇾🇪

Follow Up Fulham Protest ✊ Thank you to the thousands of fans who turned out before the Fulham game. Your presence mattered. It showed that fan culture at this club is still alive and still prepared to stand up when it is directly attacked. This action gained national and worldwide media coverage. Protests matter culturally and on an emotional level. They let the club and ownership know that we are watching. That we are not going away and that we are not fucking happy. This protest was about ticket prices, access, atmosphere and supporter culture. It was about the systematic removal of ordinary fans so football can be sanitised, globalised and sold back to us at ever increasing prices. This is not accidental. It is a choice being made by those who see football as a product rather than a community. Protests are not and never have been a silver bullet. They require dedication, commitment and an unyielding belief. Old Trafford 🏟️ Old Trafford is our home. Not a commodity. Not a branding exercise. Not a development opportunity. It is the last physical link many supporters have to this club, alongside terrace traditions handed down through families and generations. Ticketing & Fan Culture 🎟️ We will continue to stand for fan culture and for affordable football for this generation, the next generation and those yet to be born. Football without supporters is nothing. Responsible Ownership ⚖️ We want responsible ownership. Let there be no ambiguity. Not the Glazers. Not INEOS. Neither represent responsibility, accountability or respect for Manchester United or its supporters. Protests have never been about results, managers or signings. They weren’t in 2005. They weren’t in 2010. They never have been since. We will support this club and this team no matter what happens on the pitch. That support is unconditional. Our opposition to ownership that harms the club is not. To those who mock, to those who sneer and to those who laugh while doing fuck all, it says more about the type of person you are than anything else. To those who seem obsessed by us (probably bots or idiots) but have been blocked by our automation, seriously get a fucking life. To the too cool for school crowd distracted by a couple of decent results and thinking this doesn’t affect you, it will. Ask yourselves where this road leads. You will not be laughing when tickets cost £100 to £150 per game. You will not be laughing when you are sat in a soulless bowl stripped of identity and filled with Americanised bollocks. You will not be laughing when families can’t be introduced to our club. Everything that once made our club and English football the envy of the world is being hollowed out for profit. We do not do this for recognition. We monetise nothing. We gain nothing. There is no hidden agenda. This is purely about love for our club and for those who passed it on to us in the right way. This statement was released today by a collaboration of online accounts. They’ve had enough of the Glazers, INEOS and the way the club treat fans and match going supporters. The inept running of the club and the shite we are served up every week whilst expecting us to pay more for the privilege. These accounts have a combined reach of over 3 million United fans. They’ll be supporting the protest on the 1st Feb before Fulham. Putting differences aside to get behind a coordinated, collaborative message that will be spread around the world to maximise impact before, during, and after the protest. Fair play to them. 🗣️A CALL FOR UNITY AND TO CAST ASIDE DIFFERENCES Some journalists, paid accounts, and bots will do everything they can to discredit and defuse any message or action that challenges this ownership. That’s expected, we have always had to put up with this. We do what we do for one reason only, the love of our club. Nothing else. We have never monetised this. We have never sold access, clicks, or credibility, unlike others. We put ourselves out there to defend and fight for our club, fan culture and for the next generation of supporters. We are just honest, hard working lads who refuse to be silenced. Look around. Cut through the bullshit. They do not want fans united against the ownership, so they will do whatever they can to divide opinion and fracture support.
