@cherokeeowl I've worked at Walmart, the policy is that you CAN or SHOULD check the receipt if there are stuff out of bags. You don't NEED to if the stuff are in bags! If a customer says no, the workers cannot say anything nor chase them down.

He pays for his items, bags in hand, and heads for the exit. Right by the door, the receipt checker smiles and asks to see his receipt. He politely says, “No thank you,” and keeps walking. No yelling. No scene. Just… keeps going. Some people say it’s your right. Others say it’s rude and unnecessary. Would you stop and show it — or keep walking?
