@theadhdslt Maybe, but aren’t we all, yday I went to a school & saw 27 children in the day. I will still be transparent with parents & say that the level of intervention once every 6 weeks won’t have an impact. We are all experiencing inc. pressure The lying & gaslighting is unacceptable

This is what a Kent NHS salt has said today: Their feeling was that if X is able to functionally manage in the classroom (follow instructions, answer questions etc.) she would be unlikely to have a Language Disorder. I think I’m done in this field, I honestly have no words left.

@EmilioLees @RCSLT Also there’s quite a recent research piece re: social skills training within cbt for adhd kids and the evidence is weak for that to. I’ve read more research about social skills being weak than anything else!

Re #autism interventions and use of social media. "well-evidence interventions are dismissed" What are these evidenced interventions? If it's referring to social skills training & attention building programmes, the evidence is weak. @RCSLT

So here we have another toxic male teacher who wants compliant little robots. Naughty children who can’t listen can’t go on an outing. That pretty much excludes most children with #ADHD. I fucking hate this.
