Every time I see a clip of this man I understand why so many women had stories about him. I mean...if the opportunity presented itself why not? What would be the reason to stop yourself? A boyfriend, a husband? Pfft.

So much of Scorsese’s style comes from Schoonmaker. That dancing, jabbing rhythm. I always wonder if she’s always looking to chop things up to stop them from being too perfect. Sometimes she’ll cut right into the middle of a beautiful smooth pan and it makes you flinch a little.
