@drhingram I wonder if the local authority can shed want light into the intentions of the new owners. Perhaps some correspondence to planning dept or even some pre-application advice given. What is clear is that this was not random or a mysterious accident, this is 100% deliberate!

Developers bought the iconic Black Country pub The Crooked House (building built in 1765) and it mysteriously burnt down last night. This happens every single time a pub is bought across Birmingham. Starting to feel like ‘housing developer’ is code for ‘arsonist’.

Thoughts on this? On one hand I understand why he did it. Fans get too close these days and they need to respect the professionals doing their race & give them space, but on the other hand I feel it may be an over reaction & not setting a good example for the young fans watching

@twickerati Unfortunately it seems this touching memorial has been removed/thrown away somewhere as there is just this one there now. Perhaps as a community we can all band together to get something more permanent installed @LBRUT

@flying_boatman Yup, too many idiots around.... I had a driver attempt to overtake me whilst I was mid turn off main road into side road, I was in the middle of the road and they went into the opposite lane to get past.... A firm death stare given and they backed off.

Idiots among us! A driver young enough to have obtained licence in last 10 years STILL doesn't know that cyclists can be in the road and you have to give way to them at intersections (and they gave the 'pay road tax' speech). The Apprentice and I live on...

@flying_boatman Get some tubeless rim tape, or just use standard electrical tape.

And it works. Just need some rim tape to make it more quiet (and to devise the bits to support the boat hull in the middle!)

Hey @DPDgroup_news just witnessed one of your drivers in a @Enterprise van (HK21 FXP) reverse into my neighbour's car causing damage to the front... When I approached him to get his details he drove off at speed. Think you'll find that's an offence.... Care to comment?

We face great challenges at home and abroad. I said we needed experience at the top of Government and I stand by that. The candidate with the most experience is clearly @RishiSunak. He can count on my full support as our PM and I will be voting for him.

Hi @MPSRichmond @LBRuT_Help this "lovely" chap didn't take kindly to being filmed almost running me and my dog over as he mounted the pavement. I suggest maybe keeping an eye out for this type of behaviour. Regular patrols might help!
