An important step in relations with Hungary – today, the funds and valuables of Oschadbank that were seized by Hungarian special services in March of this year were returned. At the time, the Hungarian side unlawfully detained Ukrainian cash-in-transit officers. We brought our people back sooner, and now both the funds and the valuables are back on Ukrainian territory in full. I am grateful to Hungary for its constructive approach and civilized step. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz suggested on Monday that Ukraine might have to accept, in a future peace agreement with Russia, that part of its territory would remain outside Kyiv's control. He linked such concessions to Ukraine's chances of joining the European Union. "At some point, Ukraine will sign a ceasefire agreement; at some point, hopefully, a peace treaty with Russia. Then it could happen that part of Ukrainian territory is no longer Ukrainian," Merz said on Monday. Merz neglected to mention that this was due to incompetent politicians like himself, because they did not provide sufficient support to Ukraine despite their promises.

The Israeli government's behavior is despicable. Another ship carrying stolen Ukrainian grain arrives in Israel — Axios. The PANORAMITIS is transporting grain stolen from Ukrainian territories and is expected to dock in the port of Haifa to unload its cargo. Ukraine has told Israel that this will lead to a serious crisis in relations between Ukraine and Israel. "If this ship and its cargo are not turned back, we reserve the right to take all diplomatic and international legal measures," said a source in the Ukrainian diplomatic corps.
