I am outraged that a swastika flag was raised overlooking Washington Square Park. This hateful antisemitic act was meant to spread fear among and intimidate Jewish New Yorkers. It has no place in our city. Our administration is committed to fighting antisemitism in all its forms and protecting the safety of Jewish New Yorkers. The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating this despicable act, and I am confident those responsible will be held accountable.

Mamdani lo ha fatto. Meloni nemmeno ci prova.   Zohran Mamdani si è insediato a gennaio. A maggio ha chiuso un buco di dodici miliardi di dollari nel bilancio di New York. Lo ha fatto senza tagliare servizi, senza toccare le tasse sulla casa dei lavoratori, senza svuotare le riserve. Ha invece istituito una tassa sulle seconde case sopra i cinque milioni di dollari. Una tassa sui ricchi, detta con le sue parole: “abbiamo chiesto a chi ha di più di contribuire un po’ di più, per sostenere chi ha di meno”.   Qui invece abbiamo Giorgia Meloni. Il debito pubblico ha sfondato i tremila miliardi e continua a correre. La parola “patrimoniale” non si può nemmeno pronunciare. Sui ricchi non si tocca nulla, anzi: condoni, flat tax, rottamazioni. A pagare sono sempre gli stessi, lavoratori dipendenti e pensionati, gli unici che non possono nascondere un euro.   La differenza è tutta politica. Mamdani ha avuto il coraggio di dire una cosa semplice: i soldi ci sono, basta andare a prenderli dove stanno. Meloni il coraggio non ce l’ha, perché i ricchi sono i suoi azionisti. E voi l’avete votata. Imbecilli.

Speaker of the TN House Cameron Sexton just removed me and every Democrat — and therefore every Black elected official in the state legislature from any committee we served on. This move strips nearly 2 million Tennesseans from the representation they deserve in TN state leg.
