@DemidovHabs I do think this is a good learning experience for this young team. One thing that I'm most concerned about moving forward is the lack of energy when playing at home.
I think this series is over.
2 straight OT losses will demoralize the heck out of a team.
Carolina is stronger, faster, more tenacious, more motivated. They’re just better.
The fact these 2 games went to OT with 24 combined shots is lunacy too. We look completely outmatched and barring a completely transformed team in game 4, I don’t think we can outlast this Canes team.
The key nuance here is the bioavailability and the EPA/DHA ratio. Most commercial supplements are ethyl esters, which are significantly less absorbed than re-esterified triglycerides (rTG) or phospholipid forms found in krill oil.
In studies with rTG forms, we see much faster resolution of inflammatory markers (hs-CRP) compared to standard fish oil. For the aging effect to compound, the concentration of EPA/DHA reaching the cell membrane is the primary variable.
Omega-3s may be one of the most powerful dietary tools for resolving inflammation and slowing biological aging
In a 3-year randomized trial of healthy older adults, omega-3 alone slowed epigenetic aging, while vitamin D and resistance training alone did not
But the biggest effect came when all three were combined: omega-3, vitamin D, and resistance training slowed biological aging by about 3.8 months
That may sound small, but it reflects a slower pace of aging that could compound over time
The combo was also linked to ~40% lower pre-frailty and 61% lower invasive cancer incidence
Big Pharma doesn't want you to know this.
A new study found that NATTOKINASE shrank arterial plaque by 36%.
It's a natural enzyme that breaks down clots and plaque that cause heart disease.
Here are all its health benefits (and how to use it properly):🧵
@NYCSportsAddict Sonny styles wasn’t a better off ball LB. Arguably better in coverage but not in the run game. Reeses strength and physically and ability to set the edge in the run game make him a true chess piece. He will rush on third downs
@DanSchneierNFL Big thing for me watching him was his ability to get his head around while playing sticky press coverage. If he can bring the physicality and willingness to come up and help in the run game like he showed in spurts to the NFL then we should have a damn good corner
The Giants have the fifth pick of tonight's second round. Sizing up the available players and their needs, there are a few clusters of positional clusters that stand out:
• DT: Kayden McDonald, Christen Miller, Lee Hunter
• WR: Denzel Boston, Zachariah Branch, Chris Brazell, Germie Bernard
• CB: Jermod McCoy (high risk/high reward due to medical), Avieon Terrell, Colton Hood, Treydan Stukes, Brandon Cisse
I predict they'll go DT, with McDonald the choice if he's there at 37.
@Hibiskus22@DanSchneierNFL Run D unfortunately won’t be okay until at least 2-3 effective big guys are added to this front. With dex gone we have a massssive hole on the interior DL. Would be interesting to see Thibodeau play 5 tech, especially on run downs
Im really taking any CB of McCoy (If he declared for the draft, he believes he is healthy), Hood, Terrell, and Cisse over anyone you really mentioned other than maybe McDonald but you have so much pass rush and now LBer help than I believe the run D is okay and now teams will just destroy us in the pass game.
Top-3 players I've honed in on for the Giants at 37:
Kayden McDonald, DT, OSU
Chase Bisontis, G/C, TAMU
Christen Miller, DT, Georgia
Not as high on Hunter at 37, but open to it
Intrigued (and I was late to him) by Denzel Boston, WR. Boston would prob be 4 for me.
Sleepers I like: Ponds (CB), McNeil-Warren (S), Hurst (WR), Bell (WR)
Wildcard: Is McCoy healthy? What's the deal there?
@GaryS1mpson@NYCSportsAddict This. The thing that worries about me styles is he has the chance to bust like Simmons… super long, freak athlete but might get eaten up by NFL linemen. Reese is a fucking bull. Whether it’s off ball or edge in the run game. Can rush in a nascar package.
Chase Bisontis is a player I would've LOVED the Giants to draft at 37 four hours ago (he's a top-25 player for me) and I'm NOT out on this even after Maiugoa.
1. There's no long-term LG solution.
2. Runyan isn't very good as is
3. There's no long-term C (some would argue short term)
Can Bisontis play C? Why not? He played OT and OG and has a skill set that would translate.
Sure, I prefer McDonald or Miller for need and value combo. But if both are gone, I am more than open to Chase at 37. I continue to approve of building the OL, especially with ZERO long-term plan at LG or C. And I think this is the single best way to help Dart develop as a QB.
The most interesting scenario for the Giants tonight is if the top four picks are Francisco Mendoza, Arvell Reese/David Bailey, Jeremiyah Love and Sonny Styles. Would put the best player available philosophy to the test because there’s a strong chance Reese/Bailey would be the top player on the Giants’ board.
Would they really invest another premium resource into an edge rusher? That scenario seems to align better for a trade with a team in need of a top edge rusher.
Here are a few potential trades that could keep the Giants, who don’t have a third-round pick, in the top 10:
• Trade the fifth pick to the Saints for the No. 8 pick, a third-round pick (No. 73) and a fourth-round pick (No. 132).
• Trade the fifth pick to the Chiefs for the No. 9 pick, a second-round pick (No. 40) and a fourth-round pick (No. 109).
