@DisaffectedPod Really! Ear wax and feet. Do you have a haemorrhoid you'd like to share...nasal clippings...🫣 You'd get on swell with my doctor...he told me ear syringing was one of his most satisfying medical chores!

If you know you know. Using ear wax softening drops and irrigating the ear---oh man. It all came out. So gross. And SO SATISFYING. I can hear.

Please listen to this warning. I suffered with protracted antidepressant withdrawal syndrome after trying to taper unsuccessfully several times over 12 months. To end the terrible suffering of withdrawal I am forced to remain on the medication and am unable to swap to any alternative.

Warning for people on psych meds listening - if you’ve been taking a psych med, particularly a benzodiazepine long term and are stable, don’t feel pressured to taper. Do your research but don’t get concerned from this video and destabilize a stable situation without knowing the risks, see below for research/resources/testimonials: Prescribed-harm.com - This is the website I built out of frustration - Submit your story here if you’d like. There are likely over 100 papers on here about medication dangers, akathisia, mitochondrial dysfunction, the ketogenic diet, and safe tapering, as well as resources, I’ve only linked a few below. prescribed-harm.com/blog - Stories from others injured by psych meds. Studies (prescribed-harm.com lists way more than I have here): 1. Mold causing mental illness possibly due to mitochondrial dysfunction: Mold inhalation causes innate immune activation, neural, cognitive and emotional dysfunction - pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC72… Mold and Mycotoxin Exposure and Brain Disorders - pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38176924/ Inhalation Alzheimer’s disease: an unrecognized-and treatable-epidemic - pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC47… Mold Exposure and Mitochondrial Antibodies - pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32088666/ 2. Mitochondrial dysfunction in psychiatric disorders: Impaired mitochondrial function in psychiatric disorders - pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22510887/ Linking mitochondrial dysfunction, neurotransmitter, neural network abnormalities and mania - pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11… Mitochondrial Dysfunction and Psychiatric Disorders - link.springer.com/article/10.100… 3. Ketogenic diets for mental illness (that provide an alternative fuel for mitochondria): Ketogenic diets, mitochondria, and neurological diseases - jlr.org/article/S0022-… Complete remission of major depression and generalized anxiety disorders - pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38887496/ The Ketogenic Diet for Refractory Mental Illness: A Retrospective Analysis of 31 Inpatients - frontiersin.org/journals/psych… Serotonin Hypothesis Debunked: The serotonin theory of depression: a systematic umbrella review of the evidence - pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35854107/ Akathisia: akathisiaalliance.org Tapering resources/safe doctors (again, think carefully before you taper if you are stable): presribed-harm.com/resources Resources: Prescribed-harm.com - research and patient testimonies liondiet.com - How I recovered from psych med injury (and autoimmune and psychiatric illness). Works for a lot of people but obviously isn’t enough to treat serious neurological injury from these meds. We figured out that dad has a psych med induced neurological injury, and has been suffering from akathisia. It’s been 6 years since any psych medications. Last summer his symptoms started, after a flare up likely induced by mold (CIRS) and stress. It was complicated by pneumonia and associated sepsis a month later. It’s been horrible. Neurological injuries from psych meds are far more common than people know. I made this video to explain what they are and what akathisia is because they’re not talked about enough, they’re misdiagnosed, nearly impossible to treat, and hidden by the pharmaceutical industry. I don’t plan on making another update about my dad, it stresses my family out, and myself, and there’s nothing more to say about it until things get better. I will be jumping up and down about psych med injury awareness from now on as it’s impacted my health as well, and is devastating. Prayers are appreciated still.

@DisaffectedPod Absolute truth! Not only gay male...but criminal and 'outsider' subcultures of all kinds. In the end, it's a petty narcissistic desire to live outside of 'conventential' social structures...proving one's edgy uniqueness. Safety in numbers! No one truly wants to walk alone...

You know why normal (heterosexual) culture is so obscene, depraved, and broken? Because you all adopted the sickest, most narcissistic subculture's practices. Astonishingly, you adopted gay male culture. EVERYTHING disgusting straights do is straight out of Chelsea. -J

What I'm about to say is not a joke. I mean it plainly. We didn't used to see this in public because: a. Social pressure not to be fucking insane was applied b. Women like this would be in psychiatric hospitals where they belong

@DisaffectedPod @luinalaska I second Odor eaters...part of the problem of lingering odour is bacteria and odour molecules still present despite washing. This product addresses that...

I need laundress advice, @luinalaska . I have a pair of canvas sneakers that have that nasty sour, cheesy feet smell because I didn't wear socks. Soaked them in Tide and Oxyclean. Washed by hand. Still some odor. What would you suggest? Thank you.

These sold out in less than five minutes today but I was stealthy and managed to grab 'em. I have no doubt @usmint is dealing with some really angry people right now. Why only make 8,000 rolls?

Times have changed...was watching a movie last night with Alan Ladd starring...despite being very short he got a contract. However, he was nearly turned down due to a high voice...he undertook vocal training to sound more masculine. The highness of men's voice now is entirely socially mediated. I find it repellent.

This has been bothering me for years-it provokes a visceral disgust reaction. Straight men, usually bald ("so I have to grow a beard and wear chunky glasses now"), adopting this simpering, feminine, lispy voice. It makes my skin crawl far worse than when gay guys do it (and I hate that, too). It's nauseating. I think some of it has to do with the concept of "mixed signals." -J

@24HourEllen @jackunheard Just saw this...and thought @DisaffectedPod. Phone cameras are exposing the Cluster B behaviour in women that's always been there. Default is always that the offender is not responsible in some way...

NEW: A woman in South Carolina tries to bite two men who were simply fishing at a pond. She claims there were no fishing signs, then tries to steal their fishing rods. When the men pulled their own property back, she lunged and attempted to bite them. Pure unhinged behavior over nothing. Let the dudes fish.

First, never purple. Second, you could probably get away with replacing the doors and painting the cabinets. Replace the plate hinges with hidden hinges and your kitchen looks much better. Lastly, never purple.
