Holy crap... with the @nextjs 16.2 update the next server is now using 10GB+ of memory and my MacBooks fan is running constantly (before it never even turned on). What's going on here...

@thdxr I thought about this recently as well. IMO 2020-2023. One thing at a time. Felt like "this food spot isn't what it used to be", "these tickets are expensive", "service is 100% worse than before", "this feels like a scam", etc. Then by last year enshittification is everywhere.

few things I recall: new project from CLI with CF & Sentry: build fails because Sentry expects .output/server but CF uses Vite build. env vars/CF bindings usage is quite confusing bc it's either undocumented or have conflicting info across @Cloudflare , Tanstack, and Vite resources

@thedevdavid @0xfarhansyed @tan_stack We have guides, our docs are consistently getting updates and we have a CLI now. Anything specific lacking for you?

Just me or codex doesn't do good with @tan_stack?

since radix-ui isn't being updated anymore, we've migrated all our styled components for the new website to base-ui. the experience has been great and i hope more component libraries use it over radix!

@ryanseanbadger if you write any custom styles to bootstrap that looks different in dark mode, you do the same. I don't get this comparison.

@terronk Yeah idk what happened recently but Apple software quality is declining like crazy. Search is a prime example. Useless in Notes, settings, spotlight 7/10 times and growing.

Don’t use Notes to store anything you ever need to find again.

@leojrr I’m late to the party. Env variables, cors, and API auth all nice. You should also do these: - validate and/or parse/sanitize incoming data on API endpoints - implement rate limiting for endpoints & interactions - restore the database to the last known clean state

guys, i'm under attack ever since I started to share how I built my SaaS using Cursor random thing are happening, maxed out usage on api keys, people bypassing the subscription, creating random shit on db as you know, I'm not technical so this is taking me longer that usual to figure out for now, I will stop sharing what I do publicly on X there are just some weird ppl out there

@simonswiss Yes! This happens all the time. I ask it in Cursor to fix something, it completely messes up the codebase. I repeat this 2-3x without success. Then I paste in out of context 3 files to Cladue and it finds the bug instantly.

Something that baffles me. I ask Sonnet directly in vscode, with access to my code and context — and it hallucinates all sorts of nonsense. I ask the same question in Claude (web UI), and it instantly works out the correct approach 🫠 Likely a skill issue, but WAT?

Trying to "vibe code" an application for sports coaches to evenly distributes court minutes to each player and make parents happy. It's... not going well 🤣 This is 10 prompts in.

@kiwicopple @supabase that's a nice improvement! Ever since this was introduced it feels a bit confusing. Especially with the split database, infrastructure, and general pages.

we're making a few changes to the "Settings" section of the @supabase dashboard to make it simpler we're starting with Auth configuration, moving the links directly into the Auth section let us know if you have any feedback

received this @vercel email yesterday and read "IRS is now faster and more efficient" and I was like, hold on... that doesn't sound like an IRS thing.
