I might catch some heat in the States for this take, but it's absolutely the right decision to have the World Cup semifinals at 3 p.m. Eastern.
Spain and France for a spot in the final should air in prime time in those nations, not from 2 a.m. through 5 a.m. in Europe. That would be absurd.
Same for England on Wednesday, while the start time is still in the afternoon for Argentina, where I'm pretty sure it's a national holiday anyway.

@DerBasterd @JeauFCB @swearimnotpaul 100% but again - they need time between games. 10 stadiums will never work in the new format. They did 16 so there was 3 days of no games per stadium for the first couple of rounds.

England is arguably the best-suited country to host the men's World Cup, and they haven't held it since 1966.

FIFA should just have America host every World Cup. Where else in the world do you have this many elite stadiums in cities capable of handling such an influx of foreign visitors? And it lines up with the American football offseason for easy conversion to soccer for the venues.

@DerBasterd @JeauFCB @swearimnotpaul Yea...with days...not if you have a game Monday and a game Wednesday then a game Friday....for 3 weeks. There will need to be 12-16 stadiums when theres 4-6 games a day.

@DerBasterd @JeauFCB @swearimnotpaul Well they're talking about 20 for the next world cup (not counting the 3 one offs in South America) - def need more than 10 as the fields need to be fixed and rest for at least a couple days...if you had 10 then some stadiums would host games within 48 hours of each other

@DerBasterd @JeauFCB @swearimnotpaul There were 16 stadiums this tournament and by the time they can host itll be probably more since theyll add 16 more teams. Doubt you'll find 16 (maybe 20) quality stadiums to hold that many games. But who knows since at earliest its 16 years away.

Also some of the older ones probably aren't up to fifa standards as far as all their requirements go. Im all for a world cup there - but 2042 is the earliest now.

Looking back, this was such an insane update.
They basically re-did the entire foundation of Cyberpunk 2077 in a single patch on top of adding a DLC that was longer than the game's main quest and single-handedly redeemed the game and CDPR's reputation in one go
